Kamala Dreams

We booked two rooms for three people - I got the superior room while my parents stayed in the beach suite. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and any used towels were switched out for clean ones too. Overall, i was impressed by the level of cleanliness. However it is a humble hotel, and there were no elevators so we had to carry our luggages up and down the stairs. We opted to eat out as much as we could so i have nothing to comment on the breakfast. The beach suite had an electrical problem so my parents had to downgrade to a superior room. The manager said the short circuit was due to us switching on both the water heater and the air conditioner. I didnt argue much because i didnt want to ruin my parents holiday vibe, and fairly asked for a refund of the cost difference between the suite and the superior room (4000baht). I was upset by the fact that my parents couldnt wake up to the beach view as i had planned for them, but the manager said he would let us have the room for free the next time we come. Hope he remembers that promise though, haha.

Great location near the beach and shops, massage parlour, tailors and super restaurants. Tommy is so helpful and kind and always checking we were happy. Friendly staff with a lovely smile. Restaurant on the beach is so romantic and food was delicious.

We stayed in the sea view beach apartment for six nights The view was fantastic. A wrap around balcony with 2 chairs and table and 2 sunloungers and there was still plenty of space. The bedroom and seating area inside was an excellent size and the bed extremly comfortable. Bars and restaurants were plenty and within 2 minutes walk but not too noisy at night. The owner and staff were superb and very helpful. If we ever return to Kamala would not stay anywhere else
