We spent 5 nights at Quinta dos Bravos in March 2024 during our trip to the Azores and we were completely satisfied. The rooms are spacy and extremely clean, the arrangement and furniture inside and outside the house are beautifully selected and the garden is a great spot to relax. Irena and Paulo showed awesome hospitality and gave us tips on activities and restaurants on the island. We especially enjoyed the breakfast where Ophelia made sure that we always had a great start into the day.

Absolutely incredible accommodation! Even better than it seems from the pictures and the reviews. My room looks out over the ocean!! And the couple who run it are so lovely. Kind, helpful, generous. Homemade cookies on the bedside tables. 🥰💖 Highest recommendation possible! I will come here again for sure if and when I visit São Miguel again. Just heaven! So happy!!

I had a great time at Quinta dos Bravos. I liked that it was off the beaten path and not super touristy! Paulo was amazing and helped with all of my needs including buying a LOT of gluten free items for snacks and breakfast as well as a bottle of wine and some snacks. I also loved the community feel of the place. Lots of travelers willing to talk and give helpful tips about the island. I would definitely stay again and am hoping to bring my family next time!

Quinta dos bravos is an absolute gem. It's unbeatable location, refreshing pool, and delightful breakfast make it a perfect 5/5. Exploring the Azores was effortless, thanks to its central position. Nestled in nature's embrace, Quinta dos Bravos offered a peaceful getaway that exceeded all expectations. The pool area, a true oasis of relaxation, was beautifully designed and meticulously maintained. Lounging by the water, I found solace in the tranquil surroundings and felt the stress melt away. Paulo's Quinta dos Bravos on the island of Sao Miguel is an amazing and wonderful place to stay. Paulo is the quintessential host with knowledge about the island, gracious hospitality, and an enthusiasm for life. The inn was located centrally to the things we wanted to do on the island but also quiet and off-the-beaten path. The grounds are lovely and worth staying "on-site" just to read a book and relax. As such, there is a local nocturnal bird that randomly calls out during the night; you may want to bring a sound machine. Breakfast is enjoyed on the porch overlooking lush fields and the ocean nearby. We loved our stay here and highly recommend contacting Paulo directly for your visit to the Azores.

Quinta dos Bravos Hostel is truly a hidden gem in the heart of São Miguel. From the moment I stepped foot onto the property, I was blown away by the stunning natural surroundings and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you so much ♥️♥️

This is a great place to stay! Charming and comfortable BnB located on a hill in the midst of quaint family farms, overlooking the ocean a mile below. You can hike or run downhill from here to one of the prettiest cliffside paths. What really makes this place is the host, Paulo, and his team. They were welcoming, wonderful and full of excellent local tips that will enhance your trip. You'll need a car here but will be only a short drive from some excellent restaurants in the Ribeira Grande area.

We stayed as a family of four in two double rooms at the front of the house. Quite simply an excellent stay, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. The house itself is beautiful and feels more like a family home than a B&B/hotel. There are a myriad personal touches that make it feel very homely, and lovely gardens to enjoy eating your meal in the evening. Secondly we were very well looked after by Rui, who helped us plan each day on the island depending on how we felt each morning, and made us feel super welcome and comfortable. Rui is a genius at customer service and without him we would not have discovered many of the hidden gems on the island. Also a special shout-out to Dino’s amazing homemade ice-cream which he shared with us all ! Massive thanks to looking after us so well !!
