Magical place If you like old world charm and elegance, this is the place for you. Delightful surroundings with serious healing treatments on offer. The only let down was the food, at times, but otherwise would highly recommended. Definitely returning.

Website unhelpful in relating spa services. Reception even worse. There was no doctor because we arrived on a Friday, and didn’t book it in advance. We were only staying the weekend. Women at reception all seemed perturbed that we were there. Not sure if they simply don’t like Americans or whether they are just burned out. Spa reception was slightly more friendly but unhelpful in helping us decide which services to get so I opted for the mirror pool and mudbath. There was very little instruction as to what to expect or how to prepare. All women were naked, ushered into first the sulpher pool for fifteen minutes, which was pleasant enough, and then into the mud pool, which was treacherously slippery to descend into on the stairs. We were instructed to put the mud, all over our bodies, face and hair. The only way to do that was to lift it up with my feet, which I tried. I ultimately reached down to get some into my hands but , I had a contact lens on and the sulpheric acid in the mud lodged beneath it. I was given a small glass of water to flush it out with and then told me to put a damp cloth on it and lay down. The pain got worse so I went back to my room and flushed it in the brown water that poured from the plumbing in our bathroom due to recent rains. Emergency room a half hour away, 110 euros for taxi, burnt cornea diagnosis, antibiotic drops and cornea gel for a week, patch on eye yet no one at the hotel seemed to care or offered reimbursement for the mud bath

Very poor service And managers don’t care No safety measures in place In the ladies toilets I cut my finger on a sharp edge on a door which shouldn’t be there. I don’t know how it passed safety I asked to speak to manager and no one has come I told one of the staff members it’s really hurting and need to see nurse…. Nothing again Yesterday I went out for walk in the evening. Earlier in day I had informed guest relations k wanted water in room. When I got back no water. I went to reception and was told they are busy with large group check in. Then was told they have VIP guests arriving. The left me sitting 20 minutes in reception after having been out in the hot weather and having walked for one hour. This morning I went for breakfast and when asked for fresh fruit they don’t have. It’s a spa and they have no fresh fruit. I didn’t say anything. Then I asked for orange juice and was told no orange juice. No staff available to attend as too busy attending to their vip guests. It’s been over 20 mins and no manager has come to see me and no update on seeing a nurse either. Very very disappointed. I travel a lot and have been to many spa resorts but this place is shocking. Can’t wait to leave. Looking at flights to get out of here. Only been here 2 nights and had booked to stay 5 nights what a waste of money coming here.

The spa is nice but some workers need to be English speakers. The location of the hotel is good but the service is not the money worthy. The cleanliness is not good ( towels and bed sheets changing) They forgot to put refreshments all the day and even complained with nothing changed.

this was my first solo trip and it was fantastic, the hotel room was very nice and comfortable, the food quality and varsity were excellent. the hotel located inside the park and surrounded by the river and very near to the shopping mall which makes it ideal for walk allover the day. i booked intensive spa package that includes 4 treatments / day i found most of the treatments very useful and actually relived my back pain, however some of it were not that useful in my perspective but i think it depends on each one preference and case. Sunday is off day for the spa there is no treatment so it is opportunity to book a trip to see Bratislava or the mountain. overall experience was very nice and i found it worth the money and time spent.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, which exudes a unique sense of nostalgia. As a medical spa hotel, the staff's knowledge and expertise were exceptional, providing excellent and unparalleled medical treatments. The half board option was fantastic, and the staff were accommodating throughout our stay. Although we only stayed for two days, I believe a longer duration would have allowed us to fully maximize our experience. The town itself is charming, and the food, particularly the Slovakia Pizza and Beer, was delightful.
