Camping Enmar

got to say what a fantastic place this is, very impressed with the site, went with wife and Granddaughter in the motorhome. on Arriving check in was straight forward and once done the owners son guides you in and helps park you up, on a nice sized plot. the site Boasts a nice pool close to the Restaurant and snack area. it has a creche for the children to play. the shower blocks are great and constantly cleaned. it is a short walk to the Beech and train station and app 5 minute walk to the supermarket and phamacy. a short stroll and you are near Bars,cafes and Restaurants. the site also has a small shop selling every day items you may Require.

Actually I was last year 2023 and I had the best experience in camping ....campsite is amazing with a lots of animations and organised sport and activities... Close to Barcelona and has amazing big sandy beach as well as very nice swimming pools and awesome spa and massages .. at the night has mini golf awesome restaurant bar and organised show almost every night ... Daytime has a pottery shop as well you can make your own cups, ping pong , tennis, basket , gym , ... We had a blast ... The service is amazing in the camp ... I recommend it to everyone is just perfect! The best so far !

We stayed in a Homair caravan at Camping Enmar for a week at the end of June. The private transfer taxi from Girona airport took about 40 minutes. The campsite reception team were very helpful and spoke excellent English. They called the Homair representative who immediately came and drove our luggage to the caravan. The site is very well-kept and we saw the roads in it being cleaned by a street sweeper machine, and each time a tent or camper van left, their pitch was raked before the next arrival. On our last day we used the campsite shower block after being at the pool- it was very clean and about half the showers had been updated to really modern units. The campsite shop has a decent selection and what we weren’t able to buy there, we could easily get at the Carrefour Express which is less than 10 minutes walk away. There are also several pharmacies nearby and we bought paracetamol from one of them. We found the bar and restaurant to be really good value- we ate there twice and had drinks once- it was very affordable and the staff were patient with our limited Spanish! There is also a bar that serves snacks and ice creams at the poolside but we didn’t use it. The play park is right at the back of the site. Our 7 year old enjoyed it and the equipment was in good condition. The beach is great- as other reviewers have mentioned, it has course sand and pebbles, and slopes steeply under the water, but we really enjoyed it. There are lifeguards at a station slightly further along from the steps nearest to Camping Enmar. The Xino-Xano tourist ‘train’ has a stop right outside the campsite and we enjoyed taking a return trip on it one day. It takes about an hour to go around Pineda de Mar and neighbouring Calella and costs €5 each. Some of our family also took the proper train to Barcelona on one day, using a combination train and Barcelona City Tour bus ticket that we had booked in advance on the Renfe website. However it was standing room only all the way to Barcelona, and long queues at the City Tour bus stops, so in hindsight we should just have stayed in Pineda de Mar to enjoy the beach and Camping Enmar pools, and leave city sightseeing for another time of year when the weather was cooler. The campsite was generally completely quiet after 11pm, which was what we wanted, other than 23rd June, when there were fireworks all night to celebrate the festival of Sant Joan (which we had expected), and for some reason on the Thursday night when a neighbouring hotel had loud music until midnight. Overall we were really pleased with Camping Enmar, and would recommend it for a great family holiday.

The last reviews we could see were fairly out of date when we booked, so thought I would cover this in some detail for those thinking of booking. Reception and staff: Everyone from Camping Enmar we came across was so helpful and friendly and all eager to help in any way possible. We had issues with our transfer company on the way there (We booked with Holiday Extras and I would strongly advise against it.) We ended up booking a private transfer on departure and the reception staff organised it all for us. They were brilliant! The eurocamp staff were very friendly, and on arrival, when we noticed a few things that were missing from our accommodation, the items were delivered within an hour with no issues. (The items were a kettle and toaster which don't come as standard because there are a lot of French/Dutch and German visitors who tend to not bother with toasters and use the cafetiere provided usually. Plus a dustpan and a wine glass.) Accommodation: We were in the Comfort 3 bedroom Eurocamp accommodation because it was all relatively last minute. I would describe this as very basic but we got by. Were we to book again, I would likely book the Premium range for some added space/storage but there was nothing wrong with the accommodation itself. It was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. The shower was a shame - it wouldn't hold the heat at a set temperature for some reason, so we ended up using the shower bloak which turned out to be the best decision as it was a really lovely shower. The gas barbecue was a lovely extra (you need to visit the eurocamp reception and leave a 5 euro deposit for this to ensure it is left clean). The units are very close together, but we didn't have a problem - I would imagine if you had loud neighbours it would be but there is a 'quiet' policy between 11pm and 8am. General Amenities: The swimming pool area was massively the star of the show! 5 pools - 2 of which are heated - and all so clean and accessible. There are 2 flumes and a little kids area with 2 more slides. And a little kids area that adjoined the big, deep pool with a wall that made it perfect for a different aged & swimming ability children. Lots of sun beds - we never went there and couldn't get 4 sunbeds together. This was all our kids wanted to do to be honest! The bar by the pool was very reasonably priced. Nothing much that was healthy on the menu but the kids were happy: big pizzas around 11euros, ham baguette around 5euros and patatas bravas/chips about 3euros. Ice creams and lollies about the same as UK prices. Beers were more expensive by the pool than upstairs in the restaurant. The shop had everything we needed and there was a Carrefour Express about a 7 minute walk away if not. Every morning the onsite shop does fresh baked pastries - a croissant was 1euro and absolutely delicious. (We did walk to the big Carrefour for one shop but it was about a 20 minute walk and didn't have anything much different than the nearby

Very clean house we had, small but there was 6 of us in it but did the job. Site was overall very clean and the people working in restaurant and pool etc were very nice. Food was lovely in restaurant but limited menu. Could do with a kettle in the house. Disappointed that there was no kids entrainment during the days when we were there which was the first week in June to middle of June
