Pingyao Jiaxin Guesthouse recensioner

Stayed two nights and absolutely loved it. The traditional architecture gives the place a unique charm. The room was clean, and the hot showers were great. The host was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. She very resourceful! I also met some awesome fellow backpackers. Everything about this hostel is super chill. And what other hostel lets you check in from 8? Highly recommend! 10/10

Amazing hostel, i booked the private single room. And it had a really big bed with comfy pillow and blanket. Everything was very clean including the modern looking bathroom. Which had a very nice hot shower. The location is next to the old city, so perfect! Also the hostel itself looked very cute from the inside with plants and traditional chinese looks! Will definitely come back here if i visit pingyao again 😁

Excellent accommodation at ridiculously low price. The staff is very friendly and the place is extremely clean. Outside of the old city, but not far (less than 5 mins walk).

The owner and her husband are super lovely, kind and helpful people. They drove me to the train station and helped me book a bus ticket as well. She even went back to the train station to bring some food that another traveller had left behind! The hotel is really well located right next to the old city and train. The room was lovely and cozy and made me feel like a princess. It was one of my favourite places to stay so far!

My stay in this guesthouse was amazing. The service was responsive, polite and helpful, English-speaking and very flexible. The rooms are great and clean, and the main lobby is beautiful. The direction may be hard to find at first for travelers, but quickly you learn the location and there’s an advertisement showing its presence in the street. I hope to come back someday, the experience was excellent and Pingyao is a very interesting town.

The guesthouse is absolutely fantastic, beautiful decorations in an ancient style with modernities equipments. Great location, cleanliness and the host is very friendly and helpful. I’ll come back for sure with a pleasure

Nice hotel/hostel. I was there during the offseason but the owners were very nice and helpful. The owners also speak English which made it very convenient for me as a foreigner. Definitely a recommendation.

The hostel is super cute with a lot of plants. The owner speaks good English and is super friendly, the room was nice and cozy, and the location is just a few minutes by foot from the ancient town. You can buy additional breakfast which is delicious.

I had a great time staying at Jiaxin guesthouse! The host was very friendly and helpful. I have great breakfast and it has a great location close to the old city. Highly recommended!

I stayed 3 nights in this hostel. I liked it really much. I felt at home there. The owner are really kind, they speak English very well and, they are keen to chitchat with you after your day which is really nice when you are traveling alone. Also the hostel is really clean. On top of that, the hostel is nice with lot of plants. The location is great it's only 2 min walk to reach the old town. To conclude, i highly recommend this hostel in Pingyao and I would come back without any questions. Je suis resté 3 nuits dans cette auberge. Je l'ai trouvé vraiment très bien. Je m'y suis senti "comme à la maison". Les propriétaires sont très gentils, ils parlent très bien anglais et ils aiment discuter avec vous à la fin de votre journée, ce qui est très agréable lorsqu'on voyage seul. Également, l'auberge est très propre. De plus, l'auberge est bien décorée avec se nombreuses plantes. Enfin, l'auberge est très bien située, elle est à seulement 2 min à pied de la vieille ville. Clean rooms and walking distance (5min) to the old town. Reachable by bus (108) from Railway station. Owner is super friendly & speaks English!
