Bupitanga Hotel

The hotel is beautifully built with natural stone, wood and tropical garden. The bungalows are large and comfortable. The staff is very helpful and nice. The food is delicious. I also liked that there is a game room and library. There are some stairs that you can use carefully to go down to the beach.

Our family of 7 spent two weeks over Christmas and New Year in Brazil travelling around and all voted this their favourite hotel. The setting is amazing - a five minute Uber from the hubbub of town and in a lovely garden above a deserted beautiful beach. The rooms were great and the staff super friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend.

Fabulous facilities, courteous, attentive, staff, and a lush tropical setting on the beautiful coast near Pipa should all add up to five stars… But the place is so miserably managed that a rating of three is generous! Our first night in our dimly lit bungalow we started feeling things crawling while we were in bed: we switched on the lights and realized that there were hundreds if not thousands of carpenter-like ants crawling all over the bed and the nightstands. We called the front desk that offered to help by sending someone, but we were not comfortable with the idea of maintenance coming in at that hour, and we simply asked to have it sprayed thoroughly in the morning. They did indeed spray the next day and over the next few days of our stay, we only saw a Dozen or so. We were on vacation so don’t want to make ourselves miserable by complaining or Arguing. We discovered that in this hotel, being nice doesn’t get you very far: we asked for a simple late check out of one hour at the end of our stay, and while no one could guarantee that throughout our stay, but felt it was a reasonable request since check-in time is 2 o’clock, and if we left the room at one they would still have one complete hour in which to clean and ready it. I found it pretty disgusting that the manager of specifically refused our late check out request after we so kindly and quietly tolerated their ant hotel which was rankest ha. 50% occupancy. We discovered while talking to many of the help at the hotel that management has their own rigid ideas about things to the very detriment of the occupancy rate of this hotel. During our stay the restaurant was always empty (other than during the morning breakfast which is included). This could be because their prices were outrageous and their menu was ill matched with their clientele and region. A wine list that starts at 100. Reais a bottle is pretty excessive in Brazil, and, judging by the hotel clients that were present, people are happy to dine outside the hotel at all meals other than breakfast. It Also could be that the few guests at the hotel chose to dine elsewhere because it was so dark in the restaurant that you could not see the menu.

The property is very well-maintained. It is like a dream jungle, with all kinds of palm trees, flowers, and if you pay attention you will see little monkeys! The swimming pool is huge, but even better we had our own private pool! The breakfast was amazing with so many options of delicious foods, fruits, pastries and drinks. Right out of the gate you are at the famous Chapadão, and there is a "private beach" down hill if you dare to climb the stairs built on the rocks. It's worth it! Walk distance to Praia do Amor and Praia de Minas. Not an ideal walk distance to the center but doable. However you can easily take a taxi ride and be at the center in 5-10 minutes for R$20. Most of all I am very thankful for the stuff, who were very accommodating, especially Kleber, the manager.

La habitación con piscina privada es perfecta, es mucho más grande de lo que se ve en las fotos, la cama es enorme y cómoda, el baño parece una habitación aparte, tiene ducha e hidromasaje con una presión de agua espectacular. El espacio de terraza/pileta tiene la privacidad necesaria al estar separado por paneles de madera de las habitaciones linderas. El wifi funcionó perfecto en todo momento, lo mismo la tele y el cable. Una mención aparte merece el personal del hotel que no podría ser más amable, desde los chicos de recepción hasta los encargados de la comida, todos serviciales. Cenamos en el restaurant del hotel y lo recomiendo ampliamente, superó mis expectativas lo rica que estaba la comida. Todo el entorno del hotel es tranquilo, con mucha vegetación y hasta monitos, todo cuidado e impecable. Si bien está a unas 10 cuadras del centro, si no querés caminar, desde recepción se encargan de pedirte un taxi, para mi la distancia es perfecta para poder disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Están prohibidos los parlantes, lo cual me parece maravilloso!

O hotel é fabuloso! Viemos em um feriadão, o hotel estava lotado mas, devido a sua estrutura, mal parecia que estava cheio. Café da manhã espetacular! Área da piscina sensacional, com um bar dentro da Piscina que serve drinks na beira da água. Atendimento, conforto… tudo fora do comum! O menu do restaurante também é espetacular….Super indico!
