The hotel has a great location. A lot of shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel is very clean and we had a very comfortable stay. The staff is lovely and very welcoming. We recommend the hotel for a peaceful stay.

We have just returned from our second visit to this beautiful hotel, and it did not disappoint. It can be a risk to go back somewhere you have had a great experience at previously, but the standards of this new hotel had been maintained. The food was excellent, all staff friendly and welcoming, and our room was very well appointed and clean. I could not find fault as every day was a new opportunity to discover this pretty peaceful village and its surrounding area. My husband and I will certainly be returning to our new ‘happy place’ in beautiful Crete

If you are looking for a relaxing and pristine stay then this hotel is the one! The hotel is clean, a very new and modern design, it has everything you will need. The breakfast buffet was lovely, with different choices most days and lots of fruits. Chilled music by the pool, 3 pools to choose from. We are a couple in our 20’s and this was perfect for us for a chilled holiday. The location was perfect, located in Piskopiano. You have a shop within a 30 second walk and then a walk to the village of Koutouloufari is around 10 minutes. Both villages are cute authentic Cretan villages. Every restaurant we ate at we loved, all with fresh food etc. Everybody in the hotel was so so friendly. Would definitely come back here and you MUST stay here if you come to Crete.

We went to stay there for seven days. The hotel had been booked by our friends so we are unsure of what to expect, on arrival we were met by very helpful staff with a smile and a big hello, the rooms were excellent. The hotel is only around two years old so everything is very modern well looked after and a great condition, Air-conditioning is fully functional. Lots of staff that cannot do enough to make you stay special, big thank you to Christos who works at the bar was full of knowledge and made us some excellent drinks. Food could not be faulted. The breakfast was really worth waking up early for so you could spend some time there Local dishes as well as good old egg bacon if you wanted it. Will definitely stay again such a lovely place and a lovely area to stay.

From the day we arrived we fell in love with Pyria. A warm welcome from reception staff awaited us. On first arrival you have a spectacular view from the hotel’s terrace down to the blue sea and coastline. The swimming facilities are wonderful. You have a choice of pools and there are ample sun loungers and parasols. Our room was modern and very clean. The bed was so comfortable too! The staff are all very friendly and cater for anything you require. The food menu was absolutely delicious. We will be returning, hopefully soon. Thank you Hotel Pyria.

Excellent stay at Pyria Hotel! Room was exceptional, comfy bed, great shower and air con assured we were comfortable at all times. Pool area was incredibly clean and sunbeds were very comfortable. Staff were very kind, breakfast was delicious although busy at times, would advise to go as early as possible. Would definitely return and will be recommending it to friends/family.
