Room was not very clean. Not the standards of most holiday inn express. AC did not work. When voiced it didn’t work all night m, we got an I’ll let maintenance know. I’d honestly be concerned for cameras based on how things were messed with. Also, not a safe area for family or single females. Men sitting in cars all night watching the parking lot. Very sketchy! I will never return. I also may switch my hotel preferences at this point. As a rewards member- far from impressed.

The room was very nice - everything you need. I loved the fact that there was no carpet, at first. I think the room above us had a dog in it. Whatever it was, it ran back and forth, and back and forth. When it scratched, it's nails would hit the hard floors, which came through loud and clear. Also, people do not behave with manners like in the past. They come in at all hours laughing, talking, kids yelling and running, and you can hear all of it in the room. So, the only real problem we experienced was noise. If you are not a heavy sleeper, this hotel is not for you. It is unfortunate because the staff is lovely, the upgraded rooms are very nice, everything is clean and modern. The noise is the only reason I would not stay here again.

We're here for a group trip! Arrived after 9pm and my sister's room had not been cleaned at all. Trash, dirty linens/ towels!! A guy brought linens for them to change themselves. Roaches in our room and no refrigerator. Said we could store our food in their kitchen. Yikes! Sunday can't come soon enough!

Oof. We stopped here while passing through with our small children. We always stay at holiday inns because they are usually good.. but this place was revolting and if it wasn’t so late I would have stayed elsewhere. Very dirty! The floor clearly hadn’t seen a vacuum in a decade. The bed had a literal HOLE in it! Broken furniture, dirty chair, walls very dirty, overall bad smell. I didn’t sleep well because I just felt so grossed out all night! However, the man was nice when we checked in. PLEASE find someone who knows how to clean! Would never recommend or stay here again. 😵 very unacceptable! Not worth a cent!

At arrival (girl was about to go outside for a smoke break as I walked in) checked me in quickly with complicated instructions about operating the TV (really - in this day and age??) and that the current renovations were not happening on my floor (5th). Took about 20 tries to get the TV to turn on. Bed mattress was not particularly comfortable, old with quite a dip to it's top. Tiny room (1-queen bed), in the corner of the building. Usual HI breakfast selection.

What a disgrace! Arrived late in the evening and receptionist was sitting outside smoking. Followed us in and said the room we requested wasn’t available and offered us a king bed and a sofa bed. I said that wasn’t suitable and could we get two rooms, a bigger room etc etc She replied the hotel was full and said she would cancel us eh no I’m with my kids and it’s now almost 11pm at night. She was so uninterested and just wanted us to leave. She didn’t try and find another hotel, offer an apology or really show any interest. I asked why she didn’t call me to say the room was not available but just lied. She was rude, smelt of smoke and even the entry way was dirty. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

We were given a room next to the elevator and ice machine but moved to a moldy, smelly, room with black mold in the bathroom, a broken box spring, tried to call front desk to say this room was also unacceptable but phone was broken…we finally moved to an even worse room, should have just left and forfeited the one night’s stay. Holiday Inn Express claims they have a “Clean Promise” but that a lie. The room hasn’t been vacuumed or dusted in what looks like months! Dust and cobwebs on the curtains and broken lampshades, missing lightbulbs, wallpaper peeling with dust globs and oily stains on the walls. Rust in the bathroom, broken vanity tray, scratched and falling apart furniture, with ripped, stained, and filthy carpeting. Candy and staples on the floor. How can IHG allow their name to be included on a hotel of this poor quality. Picture are worth 1000 words.

Please avoid this hotel. Not worth any of your money. It is the worst hotel that I can remember staying in the past 10 years. It is very dirty and outdated. It smells old. The carpets are dirty, missing bulbs, old bathroom vanity, dirty walls etc.. I am an IHG Platinum member and I usually stay at Holiday Inn with my family. If we were not all tired and ready to crash, I would definitely walk out and find another hotel. This hotel was an unpleasant shocker!

We were very nicely greeted by a gentleman who was very polite when we checked in. He basically said all the right things you would hope for and expect from the front desk. We checked into our top of the line mini suite. The room was nicely decorated despite showing some age. The bathroom was small in comparison to the room. It also could use a facelift. The bed was too soft for my taste. We had the free breakfast the following morning. They were out of coffee and some of the food items. Someone was negligent in keeping things up to date. My spouse had to go to the front desk to get assistance in the breakfast room. Breakfast was a big bust, compared to the Hampton hotel in NY we stayed at a few days ago. When we checked out, the woman checking us out barely said two words. No, how was your stay, or come back soon. She was the opposite of the guy who checked us in. It would be a coin flip if we ever opt to stay here again.
