Palmeras Garden

Paying for airco and WiFi. That’s a ripoff!

First trip to Lanzarote and we were unsure where to stay for a relaxing week. We chose Playa Blanca after ready the other resorts nearer to the airport where busier. Palmeras Garden in playa Blanca did not disappoint for a relaxing week. Welcoming reception , clean , modern and spacious bungalow. We paid the extra for air conditioning, safe and premium WiFi. Definitely worth the extra €45.50. The kitchen has everything you need. The walk in shower was amazing. Beds firm but very comfortable. The tv had the four main English channels plus many many more. I accessed YouTube and watched some films. The terrace was totally private which enabled us to sunbath in privacy. The pool was clean and not over crowded and there were plenty loungers. On the complex/joined on is a small store, restaurant/ Bar , bike hire and fitness, plus tennis court. Airport transfer is 30min and good straight quiet road. Costing € 60 taxi. The only downside and it wouldn’t put me off recommending or returning was the distance to the heart of Playa Blanca. The main strip was a 30 min walk ( about 1.5mile) but it was all along a very nice promenade that was well lit at night. A taxi was € 5 euro and took 5 min. I highly recommend Palmeras Gardens if you want a quiet peaceful stay with a silent nights sleep.

23rd June 2025 and just returned from two weeks at Palmera Gardens and what a relaxing holiday "it was". Everything was as explained by TUI. Arrived at 2245hrs (slightly delayed) and collected the keys from Arena Bar, booked in the following morning at 0900hrs. Accommodation was excellent, large bungalow and well equipted. Cleaned regularly to a high standard about 3 times per week, towels changed then also. Any issues where corrected immediately (shower tray leaking). Pool was never crowded and reserving beds are frowned apon. Pool bar was avail and run by Arena Bar...really only used for drinks (open 1200 -1700). We used this location for quality time, walking and enjoying our own company. Being non drinkers, weren't worried about night life. But loads to do, locally or a walk, bus ride/taxis if you want something more lively in the evening? 25 degrees most days with a lovely breeze, couple of cloudy days! If you want a good "value for money", chilled quality break...I would highly recommend... will definitely return at some piont. Last but not least, the reception staff, cleaners and maintenance gent were fantastic. Nothing to much trouble! Thank you all.
