Elba Premium Suites - Adults Only recensioner

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I had seen some reviews that i dont think do it justice. Staff fantastic, food great, rooms spacious and clean and hotel fantastic. We stayed in the adults section, all inclusive and used the adults facilities. But you can use all the family facilities to. Adults only bar and restaurant, pool, and snack bars. Had a very chilled out time, not too far to walk into playa blanca and taxis easy and cheap to book. No waiting times at the bars cocktails are on point. Drinks good measures. All staff members delivered a great smiling customer service so much so we didnt want to leave. We have booked again for next year.

Well run hotel. Staff very good. We had an adults only suite. Very nice and very quiet. Pool areas good. Adult pool has nice food midday and the smartest pool toilets I have ever seen. To get to the main promenade / centre. Leave front of hotel , go right 50 feet then follow the pedestrian pathway down past the tennis courts. 0.53 mile , 12 minutes. We walked to the Lighthouse , did the water park and went to Fuerteventura on the Fred Olsen express. There are clean toilets on the beach at Playa Dorada next to the main cafe. 2 sunbeds and a brolly 12 euros. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to Dorada Beach.

We stayed in the premium suites for one week . Check in was quick and efficient. We had 2 separate single storey apartments in beautiful maintained gardens with our own private sun bathing area . The rooms were cleaned daily and to a very high standard. Mary was responsible for cleaning our rooms and did an excellent job . She was always very cheerful and worked very hard . We were half board and used both the upstairs ( adults only ) and downstairs main restaurants . There was plenty of choice and nobody would go hungry . Although there were times when the food wasn’t very hot there is a microwave in the restaurant. On a couple of occasions were they ran out of clean glasses and plates and we had to wait for them . We had to ask staff for them . That is the only reason I have not given a full 5 stars . Overall we found the food choices very good and can’t understand the negative reviews. Meicek (the public relations manager ) was always wandering around the hotel especially in the restaurants asking about how our stay was . Anything that was brought to his attention was rectified straight away . I found Meicek very proactive and took his role seriously. Ava at reception was also helpful and ordered our taxis etc . There are plenty of beds and the place didn’t feel crowded as it is massive . Overall a very pleasant place and we will be visiting again

I have read the reviews both good and bad, and have to say I support the more negative ones. Firstly, we booked through Jet2 as an adult only holiday but it was clear when we walked through the door it was not. I am currently talking to Jet because of this. I can say the suite was very good, bed extremely comfortable, and was in the adult area, but did have dirty furniture. We were only allowed 1 visit to the spa but it was enjoyable, and Delphine a lovely member of staff. Children also use the spa in the morning, where they are not usually allowed. We found that the service was below what we would expect, and some staff quite rude. I can provide a name for Miguel when he reads this. Food was also below standard, and tables at a premium if you arrived 2 minutes after opening. People were complaining and sending back but the staff were very stretched to say the least. Not much organisation in the eating area, and the drinks machine broke down every day. Crockery and cutlery were dirty or chipped/cracked, and drinks were hard to order. At the adult pool it gets very crowded, and the bar is not the best stocked, same as the menu which literally had burger, salad, and pizza which was black underneath. Yes you have to pay for the safe which you would think was included, yes the pool is by a car park with recycling bins and racing scooters. I could go on but have to say this particular resort would not be top of the list should I return to Lanzarote. Finally, if Miguel replies with the usual apology and improvement promise, then this has been said many times before, and clearly not working. I can provide him with a lot more information and photographs if needed.

This was our fourth visit to this lovely hotel and it didn't disappoint. The staff seem a lot happier this year, they continue to work hard and look after you. Thankyou to JAntonio (restaurant) and Dany ( El Mirador bar) who looked after us well. It was nice to have a bag drop to the room from Angel after the long journey , never had this before. . Lovely to see Chuss again and happy that he has been promoted , the guy is a star, although we did miss him at the Jaemos bar. Only real negative was having to wait 3 days for a kettle in the room . Room cleaned daily, pool towels provided for €10 each deposit, room safe €4 per day. Food at times in the upstairs adult section was at times on the cool side however we didn't starve there is always choice for something to eat. Our meal at the La Nonna Italian restaurant was really nice, I had the steak , cooked to how I liked it and adequate portion size . We booked the Rancho Texas Country & Western night through the TUI rep, who is at the hotel most days , and it was a blast. Loved it. Yeehaw !! Animation team as ever were full of energy and the variety show was well rehearsed, Well done guys. Adult section entertainment could last a bit longer in the nights, we after all grown ups, however we enjoyed what was on offer most nights . We bumped into the lovely Northern Soul people who we met this time last year which was nice and shows that people return to this hotel , so don't be put off by negative reviews, enjoy your stay here . Had an amazing week here, the hotel is lovely and very clean. The manager and the team are very friendly and will always stop for a chat. Room was lovely and clean. Food was lovely lots of choices. Would definitely recommend a stay. Walk to town is about 15 minutes and have some lovely restaurants.

We stayed at the Elba premium suites at the end of February 2025 and into March as it was my wife's 50th and chose this hotel as it looked good on the web. On arrival everything was good and check in was swift with the staff wishing my wife a happy birthday although it wasn't for a couple of days but it was nice all the same, I was surprised that there was no guidance to your room as most places these days have a golf boogie to jump on to anyway we found our suite in the adult only section of the hotel and the room was nice and clean although we did find a stray can of beer next to the bed from the previous residents, paying additional for the safe was a shock and an empty mini fridge was also a shock but you do get a bottle of water each day. The adult pool area and poolside bar is nice but the area is far too small for the amount of guests that stay here, most days all loungers had been taken by 10.00am and some reserved that the hotel states it manages but doesn't so you have to go to the main pool area which isn't bad but the water is Baltic. The food is by far the hotels weakness, every night some of the supposedly hot food is cold and not very pleasant to eat, this has been reported many times in other reviews with the management saying that they are looking into it but so far it's no better, in fact the best meal that we had in a week here was not in the hotel and trying to book a reservation at one of the two restaurants proved unsuccessful with no availability apart from a 9pm booking at Nonna's which we turned down as we didn't want to eat that late and talking to other guests it was probably a good thing. The adult restaurant was nice for breakfast although it seems as though the hotel gets it's delivery on Monday as the week progresses the offerings become less and less with various things running out and staff have no idea when it will be replaced, e.g. Nutella and honey ran out by Thursday and wasn't replaced until Monday, Sunday was our last night and the offerings were very slim with no hot meat or special themed food, hot water only comes via the coffee machine so everyone is queuing at one or two machines so the hotel would benefit from a separate hot water source but they don't seem that bothered about it. Overall our stay was okay but could have been so much better and we are in no rush to rebook for the Elba premium suites, there seems to be a lack of staff in most areas of the hotel and only having one staff member on a bar just seemed to frustrate people, good job we are not big drinkers, however if you wanted a coffee you had to join the que as the machine was behind the bar and not self service. With some investment the hotel could be much better however in it's current position we will be trying somewhere else for our next visit.

The wine tasting session was a lovely experience, great facility’s and lovely staff. Weather was better than expected and the pools are fantastic. Rooms cleaned everyday. Would be nice if the safes were included in the price. Adults only pool and lunch are a nice escape.

Lovely hotel… What’s good Adult only - restaurant and pool area made the holiday for us - hotel itself was very quiet so no issues with sun beds - can imagine the adult only section would be very busy in peak season Food was always well cooked and hot and loads of choice we used the adult only most of the week but tried the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner as wanted to see what it’s like if we came back with grandchildren. Both were in my opinion better than most of the other Spanish hotels I’ve stated in (a lot) Premium spirits you didn’t need to request these were just served with the premium wristband Family side of rhe hotel was also great with loads to do for small children We enjoyed the Italian al a carte and the steak was beautifully cooked. Great games room for kids Spotlessly clean - the rooms, grounds and pool areas were all cleaned every day What could be better - Entertainment was bad - for a hotel of that standard I would expect them to have better entertainment - it was just poor. One female member of staff at the main bar was rude - she literally scowled at everyone and seemed to favour serving men… also served drinks with gloves on that she’d been clearing tables etc with. Pool towels are small Hot water tap for Tea in the restaurant would get rid of queues and no cold plates near the salad cheese section.

The Hotels premium adult only site is totally a must if you have no Children. Lovely private pool and cafe bar . The staff in this area are amazing so friendly and so efficient . Chass and maylin who work there are so so funny and friendly they really are keen to ensure you enjoy ur time at the bar and pool . There is water aerobics if you like to join in comfy loungers and umbrellas the sunny spots do get busy so best to get a lounger around 7.30 in busy seasons . The rooms are spacious and have lovely walk showers , garden terrace etc . The cleaners work hard and really did look after us on our 2 week stay . Fresh towels daily . You get access to the extra cafe and bar with premium and tea and coffee and fresh water . 10%off a spar treatment and a night in the Italian restaurant and a night in the steakhouse of your there for over 7 days . You do have to pay for a safe it was €4 a day !! The Hotels is impressive with a huge lagoon if pools and a beautiful reception. The mixed area and kids area is also huge rooms very similar It's brilliant for children lots of water activities slides etc . Kids clubs parks they will not be bored . Parents can relax while the kids play . Icecreams , sweets , crisps all available for snacking on if they get hungry . It's very busy in high season so we stayed in the premium which was lovely. There is also a Adult only bar and restaurant. This is nice to chill out in however the entertainment is a bit boring. Jazz singing , saxophone (player although he was good ) solo singing etc . Long ques in the evenings as only 1 barmen on every night it was the same no one helping them they had to clear and serve which was impossible on busy evenings . Lots of glasses left on tables etc . The hotel should improve on staffing levels in both restaurants and bars . Takes at least 30 minutes to get a drink every night and the bars and entertainment areas are very scruffy with lots of glasses bottles etc lying around . Also no ash trays so people chuck fag butt's in the garden areas or use paper cups with water its pretty awful if u are a non smoker as not pleasent around the hotel for Guests and not easy for smokers there should be ashtrays for them to use . The watering system for the plants and palms is a bit smelly as its recycled rain water can be quite horrible in the warm days when it's on but u get used to it . Food this was very poor in our opinion. Food was always repeated and warm never hot . Lots of fish stews , paella, pork , canary island potatoes only ever boiled!!! There was chips for kids with nuggets etc but for adults nothing to go with chips if you like plain foods. Lots of salads raw fish etc . They say its an international menu but it's not great for British tastes if you don't like fish or vegetables in sauce. I had to complain one night to the restaurant manager chicken cooked on the hot station was raw . She never got back to me with what happened. I was concerned about others eatin

There is so many good things about this hotel. The grounds are gorgeous, the food on the whole great with the best buffet I have had all inclusive. Great separation of families and the child free premium members. The hotel is very child friendly with water slides etc but we were able to completely avoid this with our own pool and snack bar, and bar and buffet. The rooms in the premium suite are good with a lovely seating area with each one. We had daily spa access, the spa pool could do with being a few degrees warmer and a pity the steam room was broken but we enjoyed our daily trip there to relax after the sun had gone down. We could book any of the restaurants as many times as we liked, there was only two and the Italian (open during the week) was better than the brasserie steak house (open at the weekends). I had my one poor meal at the steak house - a piece of inedible fish. The gala dinner for new year was excellent. In general the buffet upstairs was great and lovely to sit outside. A pleasant walk down to playa blanca from the hotel but wouldn’t be ideal at night. Short walk to the beach too. A few small niggles that if addressed would make this place even better: There was a very long and laborious check in process which actually didn’t provide that much information (for example which drinks are included and not included and where to go for dinner). I think there should be separate check in for premium guests and help with bags - no bell boys and some rooms quite a distance away. We saw lots of families struggling as only one lift to ground floor. In general I would comment that there is not enough staff at this hotel. The staff are the greatest asset and most were stressed and over worked, as a result service was slow and queues for drinks long. The bar closed at 12 on NYE which was disappointing too. So if you come for NY don’t expect a long party. Special mention has to go to Nicolle who served us in the upstairs bar. She was there on her own for most of her shifts, worked quickly and efficiently despite being very busy at times and being rudely spoken to by other guests. She was very professional. But needed help - surely someone from the buffet could have helped collect glasses for her? All in all this is a great hotel and I would 100% recommend all inclusive. The weather in Jan was fabulous too.

I am one day into my stay here and it is perhaps the worst Hotel I have stayed in abroad. I had just also transfered from the gran tagoro which is a similar priced hotel in the same area with an adult section and this was a huge mistake on my part. The adult only bar by the Pool looks nothing like on the photos where the bar looks modern and stylish. It is uninspiring, bland, smells of sewage and the music is Unbearable. Every sun lounger is also full, with everyone packed in as tight as possible. People who stay here will be making a huge mistake compared to so many better hotels.

The Elba hotel in Lanzarote is fantastic!! The rooms are beautiful bungalow style in blocks of 4 with the biggest comfiest beds nice coffee machine in room… we cannot fault this hotel at all this was our 14th stay. there is always plenty of food to choose from in multiple places to eat, the chefs work very hard to show the amazing foods the island has to offer, they also try to accommodate the different nationality’s staying in the hotel… while we stayed here the hotel hosted a wonderful show to get everyone in the Christmas spirit with a big light switch on its was beautiful…. The WiFi did go down for two days but this did NOT affect us in anyway because we were on holiday in such a lovely location!! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for helping us to make memories!! Each and everyone of them work so hard!!!!! Special shout out to the amazing hardworking animation team Costa Laura Danny denisa ramone Lulu roberto Paula nasa you guys are the BEST!!! Me and my wife stayed here for 1 night in the adults only section and we really enjoyed our stay we arrived around 1pm and went for a lunch and drinks round the pool before checking in fully at 3pm while waiting to check in we were able to access the all inclusive option we booked. The suite we booked was lovely quite modern but comfortable. The suite had a mini bar and a decent coffee machine as well as little extra like a shaving kit, toothpaste and brush and slippers. The all inclusive option was good you could access all the bars in all areas but had the option of being in adult only sections. We would definitely return.
