Spotless apartment and building. Spacious and well equipped. Pool area is small and pool nest suites for a dip rather than kids playing. Location is right in the centre so easy to walk everywhere. Staff very helpful and polite. Definitely recommend for couples and older children. We had a great stay.

We were dreading staying here after reading the reviews and contemplated booking elsewhere, but we stuck with it and it wasn’t as bad as previous reviews, but it wasn’t great by any means. The positives are the location is great, close to decent bars and restaurants and only a short walk to the beach and safari centre. The beds were comfy, but that’s all I can say about the room. On check in, we found the reception staff a bit standoffish, like they couldn’t be bothered, no holiday atmosphere at all. The room when opened the doors, absolutely stank of cigarette smoke, it was so bad we had to buy air freshener and keep the windows open. The bed for my son, was a sofa, which wasn’t made up and had cigarette burns in it. We only had the cleaners once and all they did was replace the towels and empty the bin. No beds were changed or the floors swept. They could be great apartments if they were cleaned daily, if it was a sofa bed and not just a sofa and the staff had a bit of personality. We booked with Jet2 and there was no mention of a deposit, as mentioned on previous reviews. We heard people checking in and they had to pay one, so not sure why we didn’t. Overall it didn’t spoil our holiday, but we definitely won’t be back any time soon!

I started this review on a 1* then thought deeply about our experience. Hence my final rating. Clearly this hotel has been badly burned from bad experiences with certain past guests. We normally book the more premium hotels, yet this was a last minute budget break and we booked without checking the reviews beforehand!!! I was concerned about reports of damage throughout the apartments and of the €100 pp deposit for damages. Sadly it is clear that All guests are “tarred with the same brush”. We arrived 8/2 and checked in by “Judith Chalmers - Yet without the Chalmers”. We paid the required €200 and headed to the room. Armed with the reviews, I was sadly on the defensive. Rather than immediately see the relaxing positives, I was looking for things that we could be blamed for. I then forensically examined the apartment and took countless photos. In one word horrific. Dents Fridge Door - Shelf under safe Damaged - Various marks - dents on wall throughout - Towel rail hanging from wall - Bathroom bin hinge broken - Curtain rail hanging from the wall - Door handle in bathroom very loose. Armed with the photos, I then immediately visited reception and showed them to the receptionist. The reason for my higher rating - 1). Top Floor with sun available all day - no fighting for sun beds as each of the rooms has its own sun beds immediately outside the rooms. This was ideal. Drinking drinks bought cheaply from the supermarket NEXT door to the hotel from your room fridge and laying in the sun immediately in front of your room is brilliant. 2). Everything worked. The TV even had all the UK channels on it. The apartment was well equipped and everything you could need was there. 3). Location - Close to the front. Good choice of local bars, restaurants etc. In summary - Actually a nice hotel. The hotel should direct the deposit requirement on the “party groups” and not treat guests with contempt. I could have charged the hotel €50 and fixed most of the faults in our room with materials from the shop over the road !! Would I stay here again ?? I probably would !

Worried after reading negative reviews. Pleasantly surprised: spacious living area, kettle toaster, large fridge freezer, small balcony, arrived Monday evening, fresh towels on the Wednesday. Room cleaned, fresh bedding towels on the Friday. Sachet toiletries. Hairdryer was ok too. Negative the shower head leaked, had to hold, top shower didn't work, not a huge issue. Lovely rooftop solarium about 10 sunloungers. Never used the pool, looked okay. Staff were very helpful at the reception. Checking - in was good. Somewhere to store luggage at checkout if needed. Supermarket next door. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Room 116 No view, no sun, you could touch the building next door from our ‘outdoor sun lounger area’ Made to believe that they have swim up rooms when in fact the tiny swim pool is outside 5 rooms which makes it difficult for the other 300 and odd guest to take a dip as it’s seems like your invading privacy. My room stunk like drains and sewers. The room was not cleaned or towels changed in 4 night stay. The place was tatty, the floor boards lifted and soft and soggy from some sort of leak. The walls stained and marked, squatted mosquitos still on walls, stains on sofa and curtains, poo stains and bodily fluid stains ?? Wee stains on mattress when I removed mattress protector. The location was very good, a close walk to the beach and strip and town to shop. I believe you could get better for the money it cost and the 100 euro per person which they did return when we left. Definitely too expensive for what you get. Plus the staff didn’t smile once, not very friendly

The pool isn’t as big as it’s made out the rooms isn’t very clean atall and the staff are extremely rude and the cleaner pinched my little boys swimming float someone in the hotel seen her pick it up and I asked and they didn’t know all was shrugging their shoulders. They ask for a 150€ deposit which we got back but they did not want to give it back they tried saying it hasn’t been checked when we was there when the woman checked it. We didn’t have a cleaner for the duration we stayed there, no clean towels or bedding. I definitely wouldn’t stay again.
