Villa Mandi Golf Resort

Villa Mandi has such a charming vibe—lovely decor, spacious rooms, and lush green surroundings that really make you feel like you’re in a tropical oasis. So why not 5 stars? Well… let’s talk about the beds. Picture this: a rock-hard mattress wrapped in crinkly plastic, no top sheet to save the day, and bonus points—mystery blood spots. Yup, not exactly the stuff of dreams. As for the pillow? It was one of those long ones but with no proper cover, so you’re basically sharing it with everyone who’s ever stayed there. Not the kind of bonding experience I was looking for. The pool bar had its quirks too—you couldn’t pay with a card, and if you tried to go to the main bar to sort it out, you’d get turned away unless fully dressed (bye-bye bikini). Honestly, it was easier (and more relaxing) to just grab a cold beer from your own fridge and enjoy it poolside. Great setting, but a few tweaks could really take this place to the next level!

We have just returned today from this wonderful hotel. It’s small and quiet, although you may get disturbed in the morning by rubbish collection at the front of the hotel. Any issues we had were resolved straight away, noisy bed was replaced within half an hour of us reporting it to reception. Rooms are spacious, we were all inclusive but our room had a large bedroom, lounge area, kitchen and bathroom. Cleaned every day with regular bedding changes. Our lovely balcony overlooked the pool. All rooms are within a few minutes walk to the pool and dining area. Plenty of beds and umbrellas, this is often my complaint as I need shade. There’s a safe in the room but you have to pay, six days was €13.25. Also pool towels have to be paid for, we took our own anyway. We were disappointed not to have our drinks in a glass, I hate drinking out of plastic especially in the evenings. I understand having to use plastic or card cups by the pool but not in the bars. There are a lot of steps around the hotel so if you are of a certain age and struggle with steps I would go elsewhere. There is a lift and ramps. If you have babies or small children you will love this hotel, all the kids had a great time. Plenty of fun time for little ones. One heated pool. Two other pools. Suggest the sound system is improved as you can’t hear at the far end of the pool what the entertainment team are saying. Also pool towels should be included in the price with a card issued. The hotel provided a free bus every day into Las Américas and adventure park. We used this quite often. Easy walk into Las Americas and Cristianos. I had some delicious food and done average food, I enjoyed it all. Best steak I’ve had, I requested my usual and the chef made it. Loved all the fish and salads. Cereal could be better quality. Loved the bread. Thank you to the staff in the restaurant, beautiful happy people always made us welcome. Big shout out for Leanne! A little more service would be nice, ie tea or coffee brought to you. Evening entertainment was fun but needs modernising, acts were a bit dated, again we still enjoyed them. If I was going to suggest anything I would say get rid of the self catering at this hotel. Overall this hotel is for those who want quiet relaxed space, teenagers will not be entertained here. Small families will love it. We had a great week. I won the pool Bingo !

Do not book. This hotel is poor. The location is miles from anywhere. If you have young children or limited mobility then its a no go. Staff are rude. Be prepared to spend a fortune on taxis. Rooms are spacious and the look of the exterior is very pretty. Thats the only positives No entertainment. Rude staff on reception. You are not allowed mobility scooters. Shower floods the full bathroom. Linen is dirty. Noisy dusty building works were going on meaning limited space at the pool. Nothing for kids to do. Couples fighting into early hours. Safe didnt work. Travel agent would not move us. Drinks expensive. Bank to entrance is steep and uneven. Pool is small. Football pitch opposite but tourists not allowed to use. Very frustrating for a 12 year old who loves football. Tvs dont work properly. Lots of steps. Would not return for free.

We had a lovely holiday at Villa Mandi. We have been here many times before and it remains a favourite holiday destination . It’s in a peaceful location and quiet at night , which suits us. We stayed in suite 323 on an all -inclusive basis .It was lovely and we had wonderful views of the pools and the Golf course. We did not use the rooftop solarium or jacuzzi on this occasion although we did enjoy the views from there. We preferred to sit by the pool where we met many other lovely guests enjoying themselves. The complex was very clean .Staff friendly and all hard working . Food was varied and lots of choice . We loved the show cooking . We enjoyed lots of lovely meals . There’s something for everyone. We will be back . Thank you to all staff.

The hotel was amazing, I loved the interior of the hotel, how it looked classy but had elements of minimalism to it. Out of all the hotels I have been to, I have never had food that tastes so fresh and favourable in my life, everyday there was something different and unique to try through breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. The staff were very polite and welcoming and supplied us with lots of fun entertainment. Outside the hotel, there was so much to do. Lucky for me, I came when a carnival was ongoing, but those fun fair rides were crazy. I visited Los Cristiano beach and Playa las vistas beach too. Both beaches were stunning and only a 20-30 min walk away from the hotel, so it was worth the walk. The hotel also had a bus that would take you to Siam Park, I can't lie, but that water park was the bestest place I had visited during my hotel visit. These slides were full of intense drops and were definitely the highlight of my holiday. I recommend for the adrenaline seekers. There were also lots of shopping centres such as Siam Mall and Costa Adeje mall. The Macdonalds' exclusive spanish meals were so tasty better than the UK. I came to this hotel during my 18th birthday, and this holiday was the bestest gift I could ever have received, I highly recommend this hotel ✈️✨️

Rooms are nice and updated, sadly we was put at the front of the complex and directly opposite there is a football pitch used daily. We got woken up a few times and there is constant shouting from the players.. I’m here now in my room unable to sleep from all the noise!!! not the hotels fault but it’s did affect our stay at the villa mandi so it must be reflected on my review. Also no locks on the bathroom on room 234 a cleaner walked in while I was taking a shower.. breakfast was ok and staff very friendly.. the pool is fantastic no one running to save the sun beds.
