Spring Hotel Vulcano

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

The Spring Hotel Vulcano was exactly what we expected! Clean, tidy and perfect location. Cleaning of the rooms could have been a little better, even had to ask one morning at reception as we had the sign on the door and it still wasn’t done by mid afternoon, but this was quickly rectified by the staff. We just did bed and breakfast and the breakfast was perfect, so many options and perfect timings 07:30-10:30am! We prefer to go out for evening meals and Tenerife has such a mixture of restaurants for all budgets! We also had the standard room with the access to the balance terrace and this was perfect for us - It opened at 10am, it wasn’t crazy busy every day and also had it own pool - There was also access to Amstel, Lemon cruzcampo (unfortunately this tap was off for the majority of the trip!) - There was also a machine offering orange, pineapple, apple juice and water. This access definitely made our holiday even more enjoyable. Access to Balance terrace is by wristband activation only which is also the key to your room so definitely easier than carrying a key card round with you. There was the odd cockroach or two on the ground floor but this seems to be common across the whole of Tenerife so don’t be alarmed. Overall, for our 7 nights in August we had a fab stay, and the beds were very comfortable! Would definitely come back again. We came as two couples and loved it.

I had a lovely stay at the vulcano hotel, the hotel itself was beautiful and the rooms were perfect, we had cleaners come in everyday to tidy up and give us fresh towels, the breakfast was lovely, so much to choose from and milk alternatives which was amazing for me! We didn’t have all inclusive because we like to go out everyday and do stuff but if you do you have access to the glass pool upstairs, I recommend trying to get a sun bed quite early as they do fill up quickly, the pools were really nice you have 2 big ones, a jacuzzi style one and a little one, lunch and dinner looked amazing and the cocktails actually tasted nice (the lady at the bar was so nice to us always happy). I would definitely come back to this hotel again, the only thing I have to complain about it the lifts, luckily we’re young and on the 3rd floor so we used the stairs but if you’re high up and need the lifts the lifts can be super slow, they just never seem to arrive and when they do they go the opposite direction you want to go, hit and miss really because sometimes they we’re quick. It’s in a good location close to lots of restaurants and shops and far enough away from the loud ***** so we had uninterrupted sleep all week! Thankyou so much for a lovely stay x

Lovely hotel staff very pleasant good location . However there is an issue with the availability of sunbeds after 8 am....They are all claimed by then hours in some cases before they are actually used . .despite highlighting this to management on a number of occasions nothing was done about the problem AVOID if you like the pool and prefer to get up that bit later to claim a bed..you won't get one.Pity the manager wasn't interested in the issue...unfortunately we wont be returning.

What a fantastic find! Lovely relaxed, centrally located, modern, spotlessly clean hotel with very friendly staff and great food. I’d recommend the Up! Pool area on the roof for a few days but at €50 a day can be expensive for the whole week. Had a free upgrade to a poolside room too! The only criticism I could make would be the reception could give you more information about the hotel and what’s available when you arrive.

Our fourth visit to Vulcano and each time we upgrade to the UP! It’s such a treat - so relaxing and chilled. Plenty sunbeds all day. The hot plates in the food area of the UP! are a wee added bonus and most enjoyable. The bar service is great and the choices in the beer and cider fridge are good too. The wine and Prosecco most enjoyable. I was happy to see the bottled water had been taken away and water dispensers on each floor and in the UP! We had b&b this time so can’t comment on the new dinner service but I would have preferred this new one to the buffet. I enjoy my dinner being served to me. Breakfast buffet in the main restaurant was also lovely and I think best it’s been in the times we’ve visited. No problem getting a table regardless of the time we went down. The staff are ever so nice - Matteo was our main staff member in the UP! and his pleasant manner and fab cocktails were great.

Disappointed this year. It was definitely not the same experience as last year and it cost more. Very slow check in because of new systems. Cost of stay was showing more than I had on email so lucky I kept that. We had been previous year so we werent given any information but we assumed it was the same as last time and it wasnt. We missed out on the Up terrace meal which was included in the cost because noone told us we were supposed to book this at reception and for which day ? No clue because last year one of the UP representatives came around checking on people and asking if you wanted to book. So that was probably about €200 meal we missed out on. The Breakfast downstairs was brilliant, so much choice and never too busy. We didnt eat in hotel at lunch or dinner The UP breakfast had changed and they added a new hot food addition which looked good but not to my taste. The Poached eggs were not cooked eough for me. At lunch they also had small bits of hot food which on moast days was good and still had all the fancy sandwiches. You could still get crisps, peanuts and olives from the bar. All the drinks etc were still worth it and most of the bar staff were very nice and friendly, we found the women to be ignorant and just not wanting to be there. Small change to the UP where there was a new terrace which had a jacuzzi, we literally had this whole section to ourselves for 12 days. It was so peaceful but never once got cleaned. It has tiled floor rather than the decking around the rest of the UP so the tiles were filthy. On one occasion some lazy people left their towels and drinks cups and bottles and when we went round the next day they were still there. out of respect we brought all our stuff back for those who are too lazy unfortunately the staff should be cleaning up. My Partner used the gym most days and said it was a good gym but smelly which I imagine is difficult to not have a smell of sweat. and sometimes there were no towels to wipe down all the equipment after you. There was no sign to say bring your own towel so it was expected there was one. Sauna didnt open till 10 which makes no sense if gym open at 7, surely after a workout you want to have a sauna. We paid extra to keep our room till 6pm and to stay in UP for the day purely because we didnt want to be fighting for beds down by the main pool. These were all gone by 10am and literally on to pof each other.

We have just came back from 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel . I’m not a one for reviews but I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff who were amazing and so accommodating and friendly . We stayed on floor 6 with a pool view the rooms were spotless and very modern (2 large tvs) beautiful room view . We upgraded to the up terrace which I would recommend anyone to do . Food and cocktails were lovely plenty of choices . Relaxing in the infinity pool with the most amazing views . The hotel is right next to the golden Mile and plenty of restaurants and places to have a drink . I can’t wait to book back up . Thank you for an amazing 2 weeks . Till next time ❤️

Lovely hotel and rooms which look like they have been recently renovated. Breakfast had a great selection, but only issue we found that a few things on the hot breakfast was cold but to be expected with it being a buffet. The pool area is lovely and clean, although very limited sun beds which people then resorted to reserving them with towels early in the morning. Plenty of entertainment throughout the day e.g bingo, aqua aerobics and darts in the games room.
