Sol Barbacan Aptos./Bung.

Just returned from an excellent week family holiday. Hotel was great location, only 20 minutes walk to the front beach area. We travelled as a family of 6, 4 staying in a two bedroomed bungalow and myself and husband in the xtra faro view room on the 5th floor. Our room was exceptional and well worth paying the extra for with wine and snacks on arrival, free mini bar containing beer, and soft drinks. Personal maid service from Olga who did an excellent job of looking after us. We stayed half board and the food selection at both breakfast and in the evening was very good with something to cater for everyone's taste and all the serving staff very friendly. Because we stayed in the xtra room we received a voucher to eat at the A la Carte restaurant on site one evening which was very enjoyable. The staff on reception were very helpful and always smiling, nothing was too much trouble. We had a fabulous family holiday and would highly recommend.

Always a consistently excellent level of service - accommodation, entertainment, food and beverage, cleaning staff, gardens! They are always updating and improving things. Hope to be back again soon. Thank you to all the staff :-) Love Barbacan Sol!!

Just got back from 10 days at Solbarbacan ,what a super place. Clean spacious apartment, good facilities and good maid service. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with any small issues. We loved the aqua aerobics with Roberto ,he was fun and friendly. We were b&b but decided to eat in the restaurant El Portolon one night and had an amazing meal .The location is very central with lots of shops and restaurants nearby and we would return again.

We got a lovely friendly welcome from all the reception staff. They are all very informative & nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a one bedroomed apartment, third floor. These apartments have a large balcony, 2 sun beds, 4 chairs & round table. We were lucky as weather was fantastic early Dec 26° to 30° . The apartment was large, good wardrobe space & 2 comfy single beds with flat screen TV on wall. Lovely bathroom, the shower pressure is brilliant with plenty of hot water. Lounge/ kitchen is big with 2 comfy sofas, large flat screen TV, table & 4 chairs with good equipment in kitchen. We've booked again for late January 2025 a 1 bedroomed bungalow.

Had an excellent week in May with the family. My sister and kids got a bungalow whilst the rest had apartments. My sister said the bungalows are amazing. I found our apartment to be fantastic too with a comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen area and a big bathroom. The cleaning team are amazing and came every day. The staff are lovely and it was the best holiday I’ve had in a long time. The location is excellent too. I absolutely loved the toasted sandwiches and chips at the pool area. Our room has everything you need and I happily made breakfast every morning - I have to have a big cup of tea in the morning and my only advice would be to bring a mug I’d like me you need a big cuppa to get going in the morning. The hotel do provide cups but they are a little small but that’s maybe just me! The hotel has crazy golf which I enjoyed. I can’t recommend Sol Barbican enough with their lovely staff, excellent location and really comfy well kitted out rooms, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and cannot wait to go back next year. Outstanding service from start to finish. Bungalow was beautiful as was the entire complex. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Food was delicious, Fantastic amenities. The lady on reception was lovely and really helpful. Our maid Diana was lovely too. She was so efficient and left the apartment spotless every morning. Sol Barbican deserves 5 ☆ because the place is emaculate. And the staff go out of their way to help and make your staff enjoyable.
