Fantastic hotel fantastic room The emblem food and room upgrade was fantastic and well worth it. a shout out to Erika and her team who look after us very well. The only and very big down fall was the bar staff did not know the emblem drinks menu and you could only get it on your phone and didn’t always want to have the phone at the pool Surly it’s the bar staff job to know the menu

Angel and Mario from the animation team kept us well entertained during our stay. Relaxed and chilled out resort. Smokers you can’t smoke around the pool and there are no signs telling you this however there are smoking areas and vaping seems to be allowed poolside.

Upgraded to Emblem, which is well worth it. Nice wine and plenty of food. Rooms cleaned daily and pool towels inc, Good family entertainment at night. Plenty of sun beds for everyone one ,so no Sunbed wars at 6am. We had a evening flight home with transfer at 5pm. With Emblem upgrade we had a 2pm check out and full use of the all inclusive until the bus arrived.. Staff very helpful and polite

Review A wonderful family holiday, staff were very professional and friendly, and all worked tirelessly to give us the best possible experience. Overall, atmosphere, food, entertainment, staff, room were all excellent, and we loved every minute of our holiday and were sad to leave. We went all inclusive and well worth it, although sure we put on weight due to the quality of the food! The villa had a small induction hob, microwave and decent sized fridge if you did want to go self catering, and there was a supermarket right next to the hotel which you could access using your wristband, given upon arrival and the staff there were friendly and helpful. Pros - Good food selection, most of excellent quality, steak, bbq, Mexican, sushi nights, Spanish and Western food, salads, fruit, cakes, desserts and expansive breakfasts etc -Lots of activities for all ages, have a sports court for football and basketball, tennis, cross fit, Zumba, Spinning, Pilates, Yoga, a gym, spa, aqua gym, even aqua spin with bikes in the water! - Football court was a real hit with the kids after dinner, they would play until it got dark at 9.30pm. It would be great if the hotel could put up a couple of motion sensor lights for them to continue to play until 10/10.30pm as this kept the kids (of all ages) happy while the adults enjoyed the entertainment. - Rooms cleaned, beds made, daily, except Sundays, which is fair enough. - Entertainment team worked tirelessly around the clock, always cheerful, funny and friendly. -Had two pool areas, one for families with little children that contains small slides and the other for older kids and adults where the pool activities were held. -Staff overall were excellent and very friendly. Cons -It was busy the first week we arrived and we couldn’t get a sunbed if arrived at pool by 10am, most people went down before breakfast to claim their sunbeds, and pool towels were not really monitored, and some days a few beds were unoccupied all day, more a reflection of ignorant people rather than the hotel. -Following the point above, a small number of people were smoking by poolside, not supposed to, there was a designated smoking area, however, the hotel didn’t enforce that policy, so that was a bit annoying. Big shout outs to the following staff: ADIN - part of the entertainment team, he was outstanding, super professional, kind, funny and an excellent fitness instructor, a fantastic addition to the team. He went out of his way to make sure my children and I were having an excellent holiday, and always went the extra mile, thank you Adin, we will miss you. EDUARDO - with his amazing moustache, he was a real character, always cheerful to everyone, just a lovely person, another excellent hire by the hotel, he just radiated a fantastic energy, and was very professional and couldn’t do enough for guests. JAN in animation and NICOLAS & DANIEL behind the bar were all brilliant too, so good with the kids and great fun too. The animation

Excellent accommodation, staff were nice and friendly. Facilities were excellent, food was spot on. Really clean rooms, cleaned and bedding changed almost every day. I would definitely recommend to families with young children, will be back again.

What a fantastic place! Great amenities, the place has 2 pools both of a good size, main restaurant with excellent food and the most friendly and helpful staff, near the main pool plus The Trattoria at the other end of the complex by the other pool. The second pool is more child orientated but still big enough for adults too. There's plenty for youngsters to do, football pitch, pool tables, air hockey etc. (pool & air hockey requires a €!) They have staff entertainers too, organising football matches, water polo etc. The accommodation itself is very well laid out, they are all 2 bed semi-detached bungalows so you have your own little terrace, drying space out back, small kitchen etc. and.....55" tv in each plus a PlayStation 4! The place is very laid back too, we asked one day about packed lunches and they just said 'Help yourself at breakfast', been to places that would hang you for that!!! I do have just 2 little grumbles (not big enough to drop from 5*) Firstly, communication, there's not much info supplied e.g. I wanted to use the safe so had to trek to reception to find out how, I could have rung but the phone wasn't working! a simple notice by the safe would've been useful. The second thing was, there's an entertainment venue downstairs to reception, but it wasn't used! any entertainment provided was up on the terrace by the pool (karaoke night was hilarious) but it could be heard right across the site, meaning there was nowhere you could go if you just wanted a quiet drink! The location is not too bad with plenty of shops round and about, there's quite a large shopping centre about a ten-minute walk away. But, for the beach, it's a bus ride (or car/taxi)! There's a free bus from the hotel to Playa de Maspalomas but not to Playa del Ingles and it's about a half hour walk! (1.8km and uphill back!) Taxis are quite cheap! If you want to see the sand dunes, again it's a half hour walk. We walked down after dinner and taxied back for a mere €4! Later on, we hired a car for 3 days which you can organise through reception and they were cheaper than some companies we'd looked at! There's a bus stop at the roundabout where you can catch the no. 45 which will take you to the Waterpark and also to Palmitos Park. I would be more than happy to recommend Cristobel and will probably have a return visit but I do think next time I would hire a car at the airport for the full duration, purely for the freedom!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Fantastic food and wine, great accommodation and, most of all, very dedicated, welcoming and friendly staff. We will definitely be coming again and recommending to our friends. Gracias a todo el personal! xxx

Our first time visiting Gran Canaria and this resort was so lovely, it was great to have a little bungalow instead of a huge hotel complex. Both pools were great and you could entertain kids in both. Food options were great - the Italian was lovely but be aware it isn’t open for many nights so quite hard to book in! The entertainment and animation team were really great. It was nice to see faces we knew for the evening entertainment. Angel, Tommy and Pricilla were fabulous with my little one and made her feel very special when ever they saw her! Would highly recommend and a short walk or taxi ride to the beach and bars at Playa de Inglés.

This is a fantastic hotel for family and friends. The Bungalow suites are spacious and cool. Furnished lovely with a fridge, air con, sun loungers, table and chairs and the place is spotless. The best part of the holiday and the person who made it GREAT was Thomas the entertainer. His energy is on another level and EVERYONE loves him. I’ve been to at least 40/50 hotels and this guy is the best I’ve ever seen. Fabulous. We are still at this hotel and don’t want to go home. We will be back real soon. Thank you to the amazing staff at this hotel. You’ve all been fantastic. The food was lovely everyday and the bar staff are incredible. Love you all❤️
