HL Suitehotel Playa del Inglés - Adults Only

3-4 timed staying at the hotel, room on 7th floor, partial sea view, mainly overlooking church and Kasbah Centre. Close to beach and promenade. Hotel and rooms spotlessly clean, comfy beds, plenty hot water and spacious terrace/balcony. Wish TV had more English channels, only 2 and one awful GB news channel that should NOT be used. Good choice of food at breakfast and evening meal, including BBQ, smoothies, fresh orange etc. restaurant are does get quite busy. Plenty beds and space on roof top terrace. Please return with live music on the roof top bar, much better than down stairs. Nice SPA area, small but great to use and rarely busy. Yoga on terrace and beach. Nice little shop within hotel building. Octavio (reception) is the best we’ve experienced, outstanding communication skills, multi lingual, kind, compassionate, caring and helpful (one of us was ill for a few days). Really helpful about medical advice and even offered to drive us. Jawad and Laura were also really friendly, efficient and hard working. Great hotel, definitely return.

I stayed at the HL Suite Hotel, Playa Del Ingles as a solo traveller from 28/11/24 to 05/12/24. As I was hoping to spend the majority of my holiday time enjoying the sunshine in the privacy of my room balcony, I sent an email to the hotel well in advance of my stay making them aware of this and asking if they would consider allocating a room for me which had a sunny balcony in the afternoon rather than the early part of the day. Reception very kindly acknowledged my request. I was so disappointed with my room allocation - Room C16. This room was in an annexe to the main hotel building tucked away as far as could possibly be from the seafront. The balcony had no sunshine for any part of the day until as shown in the attached image taken at 4:28pm. There was a flat roof leading up to my balcony with no obvious security measure to prevent anybody climbing onto it and accessing my balcony, for this reason the balcony door was never left open as this gave me cause for concern. The chairs on the balcony were very uncomfortable although I did not use them for more than five minutes. Perhaps reclining chairs would be more appropriate in particular for the ‘sunnier’ balconies. I feel that I have paid a premium for my room at single occupancy rates which means that I would be reluctant to do so again in the hope of getting a better room. On the positive side, all areas of the hotel were always immaculately clean and well maintained. The food and service was brilliant. Staff were always pleasant and helpful.

We have just returned home from HL SuiteHotel and our stay was absolutely wonderful from our arrival until our departure, it didn’t start too well as when we arrived at the hotel we found that someone had taken our case from the transfer bus but it was sorted out promptly by the kind gentleman on reception. This hotel is very clean and the staff are all wonderful from the amazing reception team and the friendly helpful restaurant staff and of course the wonderful cleaners. The room was comfortable and spacious , The food at this hotel was plentiful and delicious, The location is amazing with the beach just a very short walk away with the added bonus of the buses that stop just a few minutes from the hotel . I would like to thank everyone at this hotel for making our stay so wonderful. We have just booked again for January through Jet2 as it’s my 70th birthday . We walked along the beach to Maspalomas every day and it was amazing. Can’t wait to return.

Only 2 days left off our 14 days we had an amazing time at the HL SUITE I have been to Gran Canaria around 19 times in all different hotels and I got to say this has been one of the best experiences. Beds were real comfy very clean rooms food was excellent staff were friendly views at the top roof fantastic along with top bar and 2 sunbathing areas one for naturist other for textile both with little plunge pools Also my partner had facial and Massage by Carlota she said one of the best she had so this is a must for the ladies not expensive for the professional service she received we def come back to this hotel last thing I will say no matter where you stay there will always be negative views so I say try this hotel you won’t be disappointed

Perfect place for a relaxing time of pure indulgence. This was our second time coming to the hotel and yet again it was perfection, the rooms are spacious, the food is exquisite and the service is immaculate along with a central location to both the beach, bars and restaurants. Thank you, we will be back again

Booked for 10 days through jet2. Whilst we had a great holiday, the hotel wasn’t quite what we hoped. Good points - extremely clean, rooms, facilities all well looked after the cleaners do a brilliant job - location is handy for playa del ingles, maspalomas and other towns by bus - spacious room with excellent shower - multiple pool areas, loads of sun beds and a great roof terrace with great views and whirlpools - the restaurant underneath the hotel (Alma Gaia) is excellent, great food and wine and a nice courtyard for a drink Negatives - hotel is quite old fashioned, in particular the dining room and lobby bar which - food is very disappointing, not what you’d expect from a 4*. Lots of choice but very bland and repetitive - we’re not entertainment people but if that’s your thing it’s terrible - aircon in the rooms doesn’t work. We asked for it to be repaired but were told along with other guests that 24’c is as low as it goes Also worth noting the hotel is primarily German guests is catered for their culture and cuisine - drinks selection is also poor, only one beer on tap and one wine by the glass which isn’t great
