Bayside Lodge Garden Route B&B

I booked this ABnB due to to positive feedback in the Reviews. Well we were not disappointed as Adrian and Bernard were terrific hosts in their well placed home. We could have listened to their stories about Zambia and Botswana for hours. Both are very knowledgeable about the area and walks, sites to visit and places to eat at. We will definitely be back.

The pillows and beds were amazing. Had a good night sleep on the first and the rest of our stay. You feel welcome immediately. Adrienne even gave us excellent choices of restaurants and other adventures to explore as a family. Breakfasts were great.

We stayed for four nights with Adrienne in the Bayside Lodge. She offered communication for a super relaxed and carefree check-in ahead of our stay. We were welcomed very warmly by her and her team and it felt like home from the beginning. The property is located in a residential area, which is still not to far from the center of Plettenberg. You can either take your car or a taxi/uber to be in the center in no time (or walk along the beach in approx. 40min). Additionally, it is located a 5min walk from one of the beaches and also close to Robberg nature reserve. The garden of Adrienne's house is very beautiful and the rooms are spacious. It is not a modern luxury hotel, but it makes more than up for that by making you comfortable and feel welcome. The breakfast has everything you need and is served with a smile or a joke on the lips. Adrienne is very knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the area of Plattenberg and is very glad to share her knowledge with you. To sum up, this was the perfect accommodation for our stay and we would gladly visit Bayside Lodge without a second thought again!
