This was our second time staying at this hotel and we couldn’t fault it. Fantastic location. Sitting outside on the terrace eating breakfast and watching the dolphins pass by in the bay - was unforgettable. Our sea view room was gorgeous. But the staff ! They could not do enough for you and our waiter Simi made our stay ALL the more enjoyable. Thankyou and we already planning our return visit next year

We had a wonderful visit to Plettenburg Bay and stayed in the beautiful setting of The Robberg Beach Lodge for 4 nights with our two teenagers. We had lovely beach facing suites which were ideal for us, lots of room and quiet despite being above restaurant we had no noise. To be able to watch sunrise from your bed or balcony was a highlight. As was breakfast on the deck. I could of sat there for hours watching the ocean, the sun shining even on a winters day and watching the dolphins jump in the waves was something special. The staff were lovely and our kids loved that they could have juice and a muffin any time in the bar where they could also play jenga and chill. There is great choices for restaurants a few km from the lodge and your a skip over the road to the beach. We enjoyed daily walks and did the big loop on the nature reserve at Robberg. Its a challenging walk but worth it one of the highlights of our holiday. The rooms were wonderful but the bathrooms were quite dated, without doubt they need upgrade. We sadly had a theft in one of our rooms which was very upsetting but our teen had forgotten to put in the safe, but the manager rectified this situation promptly. I would recommend this lodge overall. I don't feel one persons actions reflected the rest of the staffs attentiveness and kindness.

We stayed in a Luxury Suite which was huge with a big bathroom too. It was very clean and we had a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us. This hotel had the fluffiest bathrobes ..... ever!! Breakfast was buffet with lots of choice and you could order hot items off the breakfast menu. We sat and ate breakfast looking out over Plettenburg Bay and the Indian Ocean. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk for the beach so perfect location. And there is a viewing area on top of one of the blocks so you can spend time gazing out at the ocean. Main Street is about 5 minutes away in a car, it's too far to walk but worth the trip as there are plenty of places to eat & drink.

We had 2 great rooms in Robberg House, spacious and comfortable. Also had access to large roof area with seating and great sea view. The hotel is just above the beach which is tremendous. Great breakfast, lots of choice and we ate dinner there twice, lovely food, on one occasion service was slow. 2 lovely pools, a bit refreshing but very clean.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious and full of amenities (mini bar, kettle, sherry, biscuits, safe for valuables, quality toiletries). We had a beautiful view of Robberg Marine Reserve from our large balcony. The lodge had common areas to enjoy the view outside. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was superb, with lots of choice of delicious hot and cold items. The Bed and Breakfast offer was good value. We had lunch two days, which was just the right amount of food and very tasty. The only negative was the evening meal. We were a group of 8. We ordered several different mains. The chicken was overcooked and tough. The caprese salad tomatoes were almost white they were so unripe. The pasta dish and pork belly were reviewed as tasty. We went to another restaurant the second night. It was a restful vacation. I would return, but not eat the evening meal in-house.
