The Craft House is a very special place. We could not have had a warmer welcome and more comfortable stay. Ian and Suzy have created a unique place to stay when visiting Plymouth. Wonderfully positioned, stylishly decorated and furnished, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was a delight. Coffee delicious. You can see that a lot of hard work and love has gone into creating the Craft House and providing guests with a memorable experience. Looking forward to a return visit. Many thanks.

From start to finish our experience of the Craft house was fantastic. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the Pavillions and the city centre. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, the room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. There was a great choice of breakfast items and all of really high quality. We definitely recommend and would return ourselves when in the area again! Thank you so much, Katie and Joe

Wow!! What can I say… Ian, Suzy (and Twiglet) are incredible hosts! The Craft House is a wonderful building, both inside and out. My room was fantastic - well-proportioned, beautifully decorated, and though small, it was lovely and comfortable. The location is ideal, just outside the city center but within walking distance of everything you need. I was in Plymouth for two nights on business and had to switch hotels at short notice, after a horrible experience. Ian and Suzy couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming, turning what started as a pretty rubbish trip into a great one! I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you both for looking after me, and I’ll see you again in December!

What a fantastic find! Fabulous welcome, fabulous room, fabulous service, and standards. A wonderful hotel, situated perfectly for exploring Plymouth Hoe, the harbour, and Barbican area. It’s so lovely to discover a hidden gem. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a great stay at the Craft House. The house is lovely and the owners are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was delicious with good quality ingredients. Its position was perfect for enjoying the fireworks and it is close to the town and theatre too. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Superb hotel, you will not find a better one in Plymouth. Modern and quirky decor, spotlessly clean rooms with comfy beds. Bathrooms have fluffy towels and beautiful toiletries. The breakfast is high quality and delicious with plenty of choice and cooked fresh, no need to give a time for breakfast. The hard working young couple running this place are a delight, happy to chat if you wish and give advice on the area. You can obtain a parking permit for your stay, which is very helpful. We had no problem finding a space. Just stay here, you will not be disappointed!

A wonderful place to stay. Lovely hosts, great breakfast with lots of choice. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The decor is very striking and unique. The bar/seating area is well thought out with a range of seating. Lots of books and games for when the sun is not shining. Good central location as well.

A real find amongst the usual bland chain hotels. I was made so welcome by the owners and Twiglet. The accommodation is lovely - stylish but homely and comforting. So many little touches. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choice. Highly recommended.

I stay all over the world for work. I’ve stayed in a lot of places, six star hotels in Dubai, pop stars beach houses in Thailand, penthouses in Central Park. I can honestly say that The Craft House is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Lovely lovely hosts, comfortable rooms, super clean bathrooms, great location. I honestly can’t rate this place high enough.
