A grade looking hotel that is traditionally British, somewhat faded glory! The room was comfortable and warm. The staff was helpful. Located near the shopping centre with all the areas of interest within walking distance.

The shower was not draining fast enough but other than that it was great. wifi was very stable and fast as well

A warm welcome awaits you at this homely hotel. It has had some interesting guests over the years including Charlie Chaplin and the explorer Ernest Shackleton. There is an atmosphere of travel and adventure weaving through its history. Well located it is central and convenient. They serve quite a good breakfast too. They have private parking on site although this can be busy/full. There are other options nearby. In sum: well located and comfortable place to stay in a characterful building.

Really nice hotel, reasonably priced,a couple of minutes from Barbican Area.

Comfortable stay with lovely bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities.

Couldn't go as storm Darragh struck and all trains were cancelled and all travel had been advised not to drive. But unfortunately because it was so late I couldn't cancel and claim my money back. Was a pity but hope to stay there again and give a better review

Really spacious room, well equipped and spotless. All the staff were really warm, welcoming and professional. Great location and super value. Great sleep in gigantic comfy bed followed by excellent breakfast. Well done Duke of Cornwall Hotel, thanks for a lovely stay.

Was made to feel very welcome from start to finish. Massive room and shower. Was really impressed to be refunded breakfast coz I only had a coffee! Can't wait to return xxx

Ads on various sites implied that parking was available and free. It was not.  Breakfast Coffee was like brown water and tasted like it.  Amenities were tired.  Staff generally ok.

Only stayed for one night without breakfast. Room was large. In house phone did not work.

Parking are not free.daily charge is £7.50.and if you buy continental breakfast,you need ask them for bread and not too much item.and noise come corridor and uper floor.if any one do shower you can here.you can't sleep.
