"Quaint Old Jersey Shore Motel" Updated with all the modern convenience's, very clean rooms. Excellent location, a "Hidden Gem" operated by a friendly wonderful manager, BettyAnn, she can't do enough for guest. Excellent motel for anyone staying in the Pt. Pleasant Beach Area. Will definitely return.

I'm not sure how this place had so many excellent reviews. The only positive was having a private beach within feet of leaving the room. Everything else was beyond disappointing. The place could have so much potential if the owners wanted to. The rooms are in rough shape. 2 star hotel would be accurate in it's prime. The bathroom vanity was falling apart, doors were dirty with built up hand smudges, couch was ripped in multiple places, bed was uncomfortable. The walls are thin so you can everything in the surrounding area. The lights are bright outside and the blinds do nothing to block the light. The parking is horrific. It seems like people get blocked in over night, luckily we did not. There is a nice area where you can watch the ocean, however, all the chairs are in poor condition. It's a missed opportunity for enjoying the ocean, which is why everyone is there. The water in our shower was freezing cold. When we told the front desk, the didn't believe us and told us some faucets are backwards. They eventually came to test the water where they discovered it was, in fact, freezing. They said it's never happened before, but it could have been housekeeping doing the laundry. They offered a $50 refund. We were able to get $100 back. We honestly wanted to leave altogether and forfeit our entire payment. We ended up staying because we spent most of the night on the beach and got up at 5 to go back to the beach. I would not recommend. Proximity to the beach was great, but they should update the photos on the website to accurately reflect the current wear and tear. Know what you're booking before you go.

Room and location were excellent! Don't listen to the old reviews. The rooms were updated and clean! Loved being on a private beach and the owners/staff were excellent. Pool was crystal clear and we really enjoyed our stay. Note: no coffee maker in room so next year I'll bring my own (cafe said open at 7:30 but more like 8:00) You would do well to stay here, boardwalk and food establishments are not far. They even have seating area to watch the sunrise and a corn hole area. We will be back!

We booked 2 nights here with our 2 children and overall had a very pleasant stay. Our room was ready before check-in. It was clean, modern, and very spacious. The motel offers a heated pool which was very clean and all of the guests during our stay were quiet and respectful. There is a snack stand for breakfast and lunch and you can even text in your order from your room and they will deliver it to you. Note, they only accept cash. The private beach area was perfect as only motel guests or local homeowners were on it. There was a lifeguard too. There is also a free shuttle service called P2P and they were fantastic if you needed a lift to dinner or the boardwalk. Cons: --Wi-Fi was very weak --Our room was full of sugar ants. Although harmless, these were annoying to keep killing. --The outside fire alarm went off every night - we experienced it 3 times our 1st night and then 1 time the 2nd night. We were told this is due to water/moisture setting it off. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. --At the time of our stay there was no no conditioner. Pack a hairdryer as those are not provided.

Book last minute and we were pleasantly surprised and happy. Better than expected. Recently remodeled. Cute little motel, with private beach. Staff was nice. Room was cleaned.

My stay was wonderful. The room was exceptional clean and pleasant. The ocean view and breeze at night was so relaxing, put you right to sleep. The snack stand was very good made to order with fresh ingredients and prices were reasonable. Betty was fantastic!!! She was right there with anything you needed. At one point during my stay, i fell walking downtown and hurt my head, she actually checked on me several times and brought me ice! She was so accommodating to all the guests. She was a very busy lady but always would stop and chat or answer any questions. The beach is beautiful, quiet and private. I plan on going back with my niece during June. THE BEST!!!
