Ibis Styles Poitiers Nord

Run by an enthusiastic and helpful team: "upgraded" to a better room on arrival, given the option of paying then or on departure (not really important but a nice change from the frequent "pay before you stay". Spacious room, very clean. Wide variety of products in the breakfast buffet but only a "topping up" service: people searching for items, how to use the coffee/juice machines, egg boiler etc. No complaints overall. Le Patio restaurant was a highlight in terms of quality and service: we will leave a separate review if I can find it on TA＞

We stayed at the Ibis Styles Hotel at the beginning of December 2024. Our room was so cold, 15.7 degrees! We contacted the hotel reception who said that they would turn up the heating - it got to 16 degrees. A second visit to reception to the rude man there and we were informed that there was nothing else to be done. We requested a portable heater but this was denied and so we had to resort to trying to heat the room with the hairdryer! I contacted ********** who I had booked the room with and they directly spoke to the hotel who again declined to turn up the heating. We were very cold if had not been possible to use the shower as it is just so uncomfortable. We contacted Accor Hotels who apologised for our uncomfortable stay and promised that Ibis Styles Poiters Nord would contact us directly. We have heard nothing!

The welcome was friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and spacious. The restaurant was good and the service very professional. It was easy to find, not far from the motorway and Futuroscope and it has good parking. The town of Poitiers has a good pedestrianised area with nice shops and good underground parkings.

I stayed at the ibis Style Poitiers Nord from 6/07/22 to 7/07/22. I found the hotel average for an ibis but the service was left wanting and staff seemed in short supply. My room was not ready when I arrived in mid afternoon and I waited for service at the bar as no staff were present. There were staff huddled in a small group, smoking and drinking in a corner of the terrace but it needed the reception personnel to summon one. WARNING - My visit was blighted by the fact that the hotel chose to make an unauthorised charge on my debit card, for the room rate, on the day of my arrival as a guarantee. The following day when I checked out I paid my invoice in full which included the room rate. I queried this by email and was assured that the charge had been refunded. This was not the case and as of now, 21/07/22 this has not been the case. It has resulted in countless hours of work with my bank who cannot credit may account. I will never stay in an ibis again.

De passage à Poitiers pour une expo, une halte d’une nuit dans cet hôtel avec un chien. Les points positifs : - une chambre spacieuse à un prix très raisonnable (moins de 100€) - une très bonne literie - propre - calme et bien insonorisé - à proximité de l’autoroute et à 10 mn à peine du parc des expositions - un accueil sympathique par une équipe jeune et attentive au client Ce qui est moins bien : - le restaurant Le patio : une carte très réduite et même si la qualité est plutôt au rendez-vous, les tarifs sont un peu trop élevés - les alentours - Côté animal : c’est très mitigé. À la fois bien accueilli avec la possibilité d’accéder au restaurant, ce qui est vraiment bien ; mais le supplément à 20 €/nuit est beaucoup trop cher.

Arrêt étape très agréable dans cet Ibis Styles. L'accueil et le service sont sympathiques et efficaces. La chambre spacieuse dispose d'un coin salon avec canapé, salle de bain fonctionnelle et toilettes séparées. Des places de parking sont disponibles devant l'hôtel, et la piscine, avec transats et sièges, est un plus bienvenu en août. Nous avons très bien dîné dans le joli jardin intérieur, et le petit déjeuner offre une belle variété sucrée /salée.
