Musae Relais & Spa

Nice place but pictures are a little misleading. The spa is extra $ and there is no access to a pool or hottub unless you’re in a suite on the upper floor. Our room opened directly onto the street. Also, we didn’t have a completely enclosed bathroom. It was just a partition between the toilet and bedroom. So, this was awkward when using the toilet😳. Breakfast was great and it was very clean.

Stayer three nights at Musae in early October. Positives: - Wonderful staff who were always available to provide assistance or reccomendations. - Excellent location. Perfectly located near the old town part of Polignano a Mare which had many restaurants and bars. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach. - Freshly cooked and individually selected breakfast each day. Negatives: - Nothing comes to mind. Had a wonderful time and would happily return.

This hotel is a gem in Polignano. The staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are very spacious and cool, location of the hotel is perfect, breakfast was delicious and plentiful, but the most amazing part was the rooftop terrace with jacuzzi that we had all to ourselves. It’s amazing to be able to relax at the end of the day in the jacuzzi during a warm summer night. Definitely recommend this hotel.

From the time we booked our holiday the experience with the staff at Musae Relais has been outstanding. Ilaria and Dominico looked after us when we arrived and we were blown away with the quality of our accommodation. We had booked the Attico with spa for our family. The rooms were clean and spacious for what we required. The breakfast ordered was delivered each morning and filled us up for the start of the day. The recommendations from Ilaria were spot on and we could not thank her enough for the service provided. We are only a few mins walk to the historical centre with a plethora of restaurants to choose from. Thank you, it has made our holiday a memorable one.

My husband and I stayed in the Euterpe room for three nights in early September 2023. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend anyone to stay here (at least in this room). First, the positives: the hotel has a beautiful aesthetic, friendly staff & nice breakfast. The hotel is situated w/in walking distance of the train station and the shops and restaurants. The MAJOR problem is that the rooms are located on a very busy, and very LOUD street. The front door for the room is accessed from that street; there is no interior passage. Every night we stayed there, large groups of people (mostly teenagers) would gather on the step outside our front door after midnight, talking, smoking, and carrying on. We would have to chase them away only to have another group replace them a few hours later. The first night we wrote it off as an aberration, but then the same thing happened the next night. We brought it up with the hotel staff, who said they'd post a security guard. The third night was the same. We were travel-weary when we checked in and absolutely bedraggled by the time we left. We also heard weird clicking noises throughout our stay (since we couldn't sleep and were always awake) and learned that the laundry room for the hotel was located just next door/below our room. All in all it was a pretty miserable experience. I rely heavily on the advise of TripAdvisor, so this is my contribution: I do not recommend the hotel.

Disappointed with this hotel. Stayed one night and booked a room with outdoor jacuzzi which was filthy. Asked for it to be cleaned but was still dirty so we couldn’t use it. The air conditioning didn’t work so we didn’t sleep at all the whole night. It was more than 26 degrees Celsius in the bedroom so we had to open the balcony doors all night, but because it’s such a noisy street there was no chance of sleeping. Reception closes at 9pm so there was no one to ask to fix it. Asked for a refund when checking out but was told this was impossible and can only be given a voucher, which wasn’t helpful when flying home that day. The bed was very squeaky too. It’s decorated nicely but more emphasis should be made on comfort and creating a nice environment for sleep. Expected much more for €200 a night.
