Club del Sol Aparthotel

We spent four days in the resort and the overall experience was good. The room was quite big and the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was great. Facilities were also good. My husband and I enjoyed their spa. The only issue was that the first night we heard some machine noise in our room for the whole night. Good news was the sound disappeared since the next morning. In general I think the accommodation was a good value for the money.

We had an amazing holiday here and can’t wait to return. 2 adults 1 19 month old self catering as I wasn’t sure on all inclusive but wow the food is so good I will definitely do all inclusive next time. We paid to eat at the hotel restaurant 1 evening and 1 morning and were so pleased with the selection there really is something for everyone. I recommend also trying out the restaurant hideaway just behind main hotel lobby road as it’s so nice and decent prices. Everything so clean, toilets were never messy although busy. Pool area spotless and the rooms cleaned 5/7 days of the week to a very high standard. All staff genuinely care and go out their way for you. Only minor issue was block 3 lift was not working for 3 days which ment we had to carry bags and buggy and toddler up and down the stair each time which is dangerous! We are just returning from a week’s stay at club del Sol with two children aged 5 & 7 years old, we were half board. Firstly, I want to say that this has probably been the most enjoyable holiday away as a family. Whilst I agree the air conditioning should be fixed in the hotel I disagree that it hugely impacted us eating comfortably in the restaurant. The staff are very accommodating and work very hard to ensure a positive experience is had. Food was of a high quality and varied, highly recommend trying some of the curry’s which are similar to Caribbean curries. Salad bar deserts and options were hugely varied and we ate very well and healthy for the week. The rooms were clean and well appointed, I think they would benefit being slightly larger for a family and ideally not having a sofa bed but it wasn’t uncomfortable and the terrace outside was nice. We were in room 3106 on ground floor perfectly located and whilst at first abit worried about noise in evening, we ended up being at the entertainment most evenings and when we weren’t it didn’t bother us. The entertainment team work hard and mini disco for the kids was a huge success. They were a bit mixed on kids club but just due to what they wanted to do. The staff are enthusiastic and kind but sometimes there was a language barrier. My one criticism was they encourage a game alongside a song at mini disco with a train for kids and the lead male entertainer encouraged the children to crawl under the dad’s legs standing up with him leading: a number of parents weren’t comfortable and working in safeguarding in the UK this is not acceptable nor appropriate, I told my daughters not to do this. I think this omitting of appropriate boundaries particularly of children and adults they don’t know needs to be looked at and amended immediately. The bar staff front of house staff entertainment team cleaners cooks and waitressing staff all work very hard to ensure you have a lovely stay. I will say that as we left today it was notably busier and I would be put off staying as it gets busier but that’s down to personal preference. We really enjoyed our holiday and thank club del Sol for ensuring we had a wonderful time. We are returning home relaxed and content!

This hotel was an excellent find. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful, nothing was too much. We stayed room only and a few mornings bought breakfast tokens at €15 adult & €7.50 child. We had lunch several days poolside and the food was great. Special mention to Aslan who was very attentive. Room was spacious for the 3 of us, cleaned most days, they did let us know 2 days it wouldn’t be, but we could get clean towels from reception. Pool is reasonably quiet, water temperature perfect, clean and always got a bed. On site shop was reasonably priced and stocked for drinks, baguettes etc. Hotel is about 1.5 mile from the centre of Puerto Pollensa, we walked in a few mornings. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, use card to tap on and off, takes about 5/6 minutes to centre. We normally would get a taxi but they bit hard to come by, there is an app but few times we tried to book, we didn’t get a time confirmed and we ended up just getting the bus which was just easy. Last bus back was 11:30pm. Restaurants we tried and would go back were Brisas & Gran Cafe 1919 both on Sea front. Bars we loved, Lemon, Hotel Miramar Sea Lounge both have little platforms out to sea, very chilled. Overall a wonderful place and will definitely come back.

I'm writing this review whilst still here. Sorry, I just don't understand the positive reviews so far. There is no air conditioning in the main restaurant, which apparently has not been working for over three months?! Why has it not been repaired yet?! Meal times with two young children is just uncomfortable, hot and sweaty; we just want to get it over with asap. This should not be the case. I find it odd that no one has mentioned this in any previous reviews and that a hotel purporting to have a 4 star rating, charging higher than normal rates; can get away with this. Ww are thinking of leaving for this reason alone. Areas of the property are dated and worn, the water for the slides and fountains is turned off at midday for at least an hour or so, which again is quite frustrating, when your children are enjoying themselves and then suddenly, off goes the water. Food quality is acceptable, but nothing more. To get a drink apart from wine, beer or soft drinks, you then have to leave the restaurant, go to the bar, get the drink, walk back to the restaurant.....No full length mirror in the rooms either. I wouldn't have an issue if this was a three star hotel, but when its a four star hotel at higher than average prices, then I do have an issue.
