Parkside Guest House

Lovely guest house, very friendly owner/staff. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was a good standard with a lovely shower. Breakfast of cereals, self made hot food (beans, eggs), yoghurts, juices etc…..Excellent value for money in this lovely village.

We stayed at parkside for my sisters hen weekend in March 2025. We had the most amazing time! We would recommend for big groups/ parties. Zoe did so much to help us (brought in all of our shopping bless her). The party room is HUGE, we weren’t expecting such a big space. There is an fab garden area (will be perfect for summer time) and if you have children they can play. It worked well as we had different groups of friends/ family staying so everybody had their own room and bathroom which was perfect. The whole place is set up immaculately, so clean and spacious and enough room for everyone. The hot tub is easy to work and is checked every morning. We all really enjoyed this. Zoe also had breakfast food ready for us in the fridge which was amazing - we weren’t expecting it at all. we are planning to go back in the summer with our whole family! Would recommend for big family gatherings, parties & even just to get away. It’s easy to find and plenty of parking. We can’t thank Zoe enough for making the weekend so memorable for all of us - we would do it all over again in a heartbeat if we could! Thank you Zoe! Xxx

Spotlessly clean, excellent value and exceptionally friendly staff. This is the best Guesthouse I have ever stayed in, no exaggeration. I booked at short notice, had no prior knowledge of this place, and when I arrived, I was very pleased. Nicest staff, and everything was in perfect order. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone in need of accommodation in this area...without hesitation!

By surprise, I wasn't allocated to the guest house but an apartment in Snaith. As a result, there's no hot breakfast done in the morning. However, tea, coffee, juice, bread, eggs, yogurt and milk are provided in the apartment. As a result, we can still have a hot breakfast by cooking it ourselves. The apartment is very clean and Zoe whom I think is the owner of it is very pleasant and helpful. The only downside is that the boiler can sometimes get low water pressure and we need to turn some knots to boost it. Also, the bathroom door is difficult to open to get out, won't be able to be opened by children. Snaith is a nice place with Co-op, post office and quite a few eating places to choose from. Very handy for a trip.

Very good guest house with excellent kitchen and room / ensuite facilities plus a garden with tables, and a snooker room. Friendly service from on site staff, (Catherine) plus a local pub the Kings Head a five minutes (see separate review for the pub). Good place for a stopover.

Back in the UK for 8 days and stayed four nights at this lovely quaint guest house. It has everything I needed, kitchen facilities, fridge, freezer, wifi, flatscreen tv and comfy bed, en suite. Friendly service from on site staff, all you could wish for, plus a local pub a two minute walk away.
