Superb location - a 7 min walk to the ruins entrance & one of the stations which was perfect for us. Only stayed one night, room spacious with balcony & clean. Pool open, didn't go in but used the sun loungers. Breakfast was basic but fine and they kept our cases all day without charge whilst we went to the ruins. Our party had solo travellers staying in rooms alone and it felt very safe, and quiet too. The decor etc is a bit dated but as we only stayed a night the location was all important for us and really worked.

Very close to the ruins, lovely scenery around it at the base of a hill along a road which leads up to the ruins. We had a wonderful view on second floor of the hills and the distant modern city of Pompei as well as the pool below. We loved it! The air con was broken but got fixed promptly. We enjoyed that you could get a beer or ice cream in the lobby downstairs. The restaurant for breakfast was wonderful and I explained I couldn't eat Gluten and they accommodated me wonderfully, I was truly grateful. They do not speak English well but nothing a translator cant help on the phone. Area is quiet and all souvenir places and restaurants in immediate area close at 6pm. Very affordable. We will definitely return.

If you told me it was as old as pompeii I would have believed you. It was so dated it was funny. The breakfast was poor not much to choose from. Only good thing was the pool for the kids and it was close to pompeii ruins. Staff weren’t really pleasant either

What a hidden gem! The Staff were so accommodating and friendly, especially Valeria and Matteo. We had a non-working air con unit on our first day (34-degree heat!) went to reception and Massimo came straight back up with us and had it fixed within 10 minutes. The room was basic (as expected for a 2-star) but was spotless, serviced daily, the sheets were bright white and crisp and the towels were bright white and soft! The pool was lovely and we often had it to ourselves, with quality sunbeds and seating. The location was just what we wanted, a 5-minute walk to Pompeii Scavi entrance / Train & bus station. Snack options are limited however there are restaurants within a 10-minute walk.

Stay at hotel was brilliant, staff were lovely, hotel was clean and was a great location for the pompeii archeological park (about a ten min walk). Pool area was clean and tidy, as were rooms and rest of hotel. It is a 2/3 star and a little outdated, but that's not the most important thing for us. Mountain view from balcony was spectacular. Lovely continental breakfast, they let my fiancee bring breakfast to our room because I was unwell, which was lovley and very much appreciated. I could not fault the hotel at all, the only downside was not a lot going on around the hotel and very limited choices in terms of eating out and hotel only provides sandwiches/burger, however, it is less than a 10min walk to train station if you wanted to venture further afield. We are on a month long trip through Europe and it was a great start to our trip. Thank you for our stay!

If choose this hotel, then it is a great choice! We had a room with air conditioning and a balcony plus the view of the mountains was amazing. Great location near the ruins, literally about 5 min access, also to the bus taking you to the Vesuvius. Pool was nice and refreshing, breakfast was nice too, we had amazing service and all in all a nice stay!

We spent two nights here so we didn't have to rush Pompeii/Vesuvius. You really can't beat the location! Close to the Circumvensuvia train station, Pompeii ruins entrance, and shuttles to Vesuvius. The staff here are beyond friendly and the breakfast was good. The bed was very firm but asking for a second pillow helped! Everything was clean and we felt safe. My teen enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool and made friends with the local cat. All in all a great experience that was fairly priced.

Grate place to stay though a bit hard to find it. Very close to the entrance to Archeologic park and in spite of that a really quiet spot. Comfortable rooms, bar offering local wines and concierge (namely luggage storage) Tasty breakfast in clean and spacy area.

The hotel is located about a five minute walk from the Pompeii Scavi train station and an entrance to the ruins. The room was nice with A/C and a nice bathroom. The pool was great to relax around after a hard, hot day of exploring and you could order drinks and a limited menu of snacks and sandwiches etc. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. All of the staff were helpful and great to deal with. The walk in to town is 20-25 minutes but enjoyable. Note* It is actually called the Hotel Villa dei Misteri. If you follow GPS to Villa dei Misteri you will end up at an ancient villa with no available rooms or pool!
