The suite on the first floor with the balcony and a swing on the porch was amazing. The staff was friendly and hospitable. The cleanliness and hygiene was impeccable. Very smooth process of arranging the airport pick-up and drop from Chennai Airport. The hotel is close to almost everything in white town. We also booked a bike rental with them to visit Auroville and to go kayaking in the mangrove forests. A lot of restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. The best part is the proximity to the promenade beach - just 4 min walk .

Amazing staff, vintage property, all French designs and themes. Amazing breakfast especially the bacon and fresh breads. The housekeeping team including Padmini were amazing. Recommend to book the penthouse as it’s more premium. Must stay.

Awesome property and ambience ,staff is also very good service ,hygiene all good ,specially person name Prabhu who treat customer like as a family member,as I visited there ***** with my old age mother and requested for ground floor room only they helped me in that as well ,took special care for her ,cab arrangements and all everything was so good .

Good stay amazing ambiance kids enjoyed. Mr Prabhu treated each and every guest with a smiling face. Must try the food is really testy. The rooms are antique with big balcony. We had a dinner with live music that’s unforgettable. One of the best stay at Pondicherry.

I have always been dreaming about traveling to India and visit Pondicherry! This year, I decided to make it happen! Thanks to my travel agent Services International, who made the reservations for me at the Le Dupleix, Pondicherry, this dream has been fulfilled with aplomb! My brief stay of three nights at this wonderful hotel in the center of town, gave me all the chances to see and experience what visiting Pondicherry is like! The time I took to visit, the guide Babur that accompanied me around town for the day, and the driver Mr Bala from Services International made the trip take place with absolute pleasure! But the staff at the Dupleix headed by Ms Kutiva, Ms Jemima, their housekeeping group with Ms Padmani made my stay here all the more pleasurable! It broke my hear to leave Pondicherry today, but I hope that the chance will come again soon! This time I will plan to visit with my friends and some family as well! I will give The Dupleix a very high recommendation, best to ask for rooms at the ground or second floors! Everything else will just fall into place and make you love reaching Pondicherry even more! Beautiful heritage property. However needs some TLC. Food was of a good standard and always freshly cooked. Outstanding customer service from the hotel staff. Willing to go the extra mile, caring, polite and professional. Special mention for Padmini and the house keeping team. Recommend a visit to this characterful quirky property. What it lacks in luxury is more than made up for by the warmth of the staff.
