Excellent hotel! If you look for something special, beyond the usual hotel style, this is a perfect homebase for a longer stay. The pricing is very reasonable for the service you get: 2 room suite (we stayed in appt. 8) with a lot of space. The kitchenette is useful and fully equipped, but you will go out to Ponta anyhow for nice food. The breakfast ordering is unusual. You will have breakfast on your room and it will be brought to you in the morning. After the first day, we preferred it that way. I went to the sauna once. You have to switch it on 15-25 minutes before you want to go and it is not instantly clear, how it works. I got one of the nice staff members to help me. The gym is small, but so is the hotel. With only 8 or 9 rooms, you will probably be alone in the gym anyhow. Quality of furniture, staff friendliness and solid English capabilites are very good. I can imagine to come back for a sporting week in summer! The location is in walking distance to the center. You have a free parking spot around the corner. Driving to the trails or hot spas is easy and I went running in various places and we took some hikes around the island. New Years celebration was also a blast. Very happy here!

We had a fantastic stay! The owners were so accommodating! They made our stay perfect! They went out of their way for us. Nice restaurant on the street where the parking garage faces out on. Great location! Definitely recommend and will stay there again if we go back!

Truly a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Azores. Rooms were large, service was exceptional and breakfast served every morning to your room. Full kitchen facilities staff were truly amazing it certainly made our stay memorable. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

This is a delightful "Art Hotel" in Ponte Delgado on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. The room was spacious and very well equipped with full cooking facilities, lovely bathroom and distinctive decor. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. They provided excellent tips for dining and the in room breakfast was good.

From start to finish, our experience at the Casa da Galeria was exceptional. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our apartment was beautiful, very contemporary, spacious and immaculately clean. Really well designed and a clever use of the space. Breakfast is ordered the day before and delivered to your room at a time of your choice. It was all delicious, especially the scrambled eggs. We didn’t have time to use the rooftop pool or gym, but it was a really good setup. The hotel itself is only a very short walk (5 mins) from the centre of Ponta Delgada and, although it is situated in the busy part of the old town, we didn’t experience any disturbance from street noise. We had a hire car and had emailed ahead to reserve a spot in the car park (only 3 spaces), but I think there was plenty of municipal parking within a relatively short walk of the hotel. Loved it here and would stay here again without doubt if we ever visit Sao Miguel again.

I stayed three nights at this amazing hotel, probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in! It looks exactly like the pictures and was in a great location. The room was extremely well-equipped, with pretty much anything and everything you could want or need. The staff was super friendly and helpful, even offering to book me an early morning taxi to the airport before I could even ask. Breakfasts were delicious and delivered to your room, and for my early departure it was delivered the night before! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
