Whortleberry Studio B & B

This is the second time we have stayed at the Wortleberry Tearooms Studio and you really cannot fault it. It is tucked away behind the tearooms, Very modern, comfortable and well kept. The owners, Helen and Shaun could not be more pleasant, accommodating and helpful. There are a wide selection of breakfasts available on request. The studio comes with a well kept garden complete with table and chairs that makes an excellent spot for sun-downers. There is also a private parking spot. In a word - brilliant.

We have just returned from a short break in the Studio apartment in Porlock. This really is a hidden gem, right in the centre of Porlock, but tucked right behind the tea room, which gives you peace and tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the high street, with the benefit of private parking right next to the Studio. A very comfortable bed, with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay, including fresh milk each day and home made biscuits upon arrival, and if the weather permits, table and chairs in its own secluded garden. Helen and Shaun couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, and the breakfast that is served each day in the tea room is top notch with an excellent selection. Both the tea room and the Studio are spotlessly clean, and whilst there you really must try the cream tea and Apple & Whortleberry cake served warm, with clotted cream, they are delicious. We will certainly look to stay again when next in the area.
