Mycket bra

The cabin is clean & comfortable. When booking, received email said check-in is from 2pm to 9pm, but arrived around 6pm, the reception already closed, just with instruction left outside reception to check-in. However, no issue for that, the room key is left in the room, easy check-in.

Nice one full bed and a bunk bed. Very clean room and bathroom. A few minutes driving to see the sunset. Easy to check in and out.

Disappointing Stay at Summer’s Rest Units
Our stay at Summer’s Rest Units was quiet, but it fell short in several key areas. While the units were basic and functional, the overall experience was disappointing due to a lack of service and hospitality.
Check-in was completely self-service, with no one at reception. Guests were left to locate their units from a name list. Shortly after, we encountered an elderly gentleman who was confused about how to access his unit and unable to reach reception. We had to guide him through the process, which highlighted the lack of support for arriving guests.
The outdoor benches provided with the units seemed like a nice touch at first, but they were practically unusable due to the sheer number of flies buzzing around. It was impossible to relax outside or enjoy the rest areas.
An unpleasant interaction with the evening receptionist further soured our experience. She came to our unit to verify our arrival and, upon learning we had our daughter with us, immediately demanded payment for the “extra child,” stating their policy only allows children under 2 to share a bed free of charge. This was surprising, as in Australia, children under 14 or 15 are generally considered minors. While we agreed to pay, I requested to settle it during checkout as I was preparing dinner. However, she insisted on immediate payment, claiming she wouldn’t be available the next day. This could have been handled far more professionally by adding the charge to the final bill.
Checkout was another disappointment. There was no staff at the counter, just a box for key drop-offs, leaving no way to confirm outstanding matters or address concerns.
While the units may seem appealing for their quiet atmosphere and extra beds, the lack of hospitality, unusable rest areas, and poor service make it a poor choice. There are far better accommodations nearby, and we will not be returning.
