Puerto Azul Suite Hotel

Good quiet location but not far from the main resort. Rooms clean and tidy though lacking in cupboard space. Bathroom and shower were very modern. We had a garden view as no pool side rooms available which was nice as we looked out over the mountains. Entertainment was ok but just just didn't understand the 20 minute parrot show 🤔 Entertainment that night was over by 9.50pm and not 10.50pm as other nights! Bingo played every night at 9.15pm. Bar and room service was exceptional but my one major complaint was the temperature of the food. We ate at 8pm every night and it simply wasn't warm enough. Even the English breakfast was luke warm. This didn't ruin our holiday but maybe management can look at ways of keeping food warmer and feed back to me? Puerto Pollensa resort is beautiful but not overly big so days out to Pollenca and Alcudia old towns are a must. Even the port of Alcudia offers a different option as this is much larger. Overall a nice holiday but maybe a few years before we return as we'd like a resort that offers more to do. The hotel though was absolutely fine 👍🏻

Fifth year in a row at this brilliant hotel. Great garden room with pool view. Rooms are clean with fridge, kettle, TVs, breakfast table and chairs. Also, sofa turns into double bed. Restaurant has a lovely indoor/outdoor atmosphere with scrumptious options for breakfast and evening meal. Staff are more like family now, with Rafa and Sven on the entertainment, Magda, Mari and Malena at restaurant, Antonio at the bar and Sue and Kevin at reception make this holiday to look forward to. We've booked for next year already with our fellow Badgers.

Just back from a 5 day break with my Mum and this hotel was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is ideal. Our room (lounge area with separate bedroom) was spacious and clean, as was the whole hotel. We had a garden view room (block C) which suited us as it was quiet and we could enjoy the afternoon sun on the patio. We don’t usually choose half board but the food was really good, plenty of choice and all freshly prepared. The adults only sun lounger areas are a great idea as they’re away from the pool area but you can still see everything. The sea front with all the cafes and restaurants is a 5 minute walk away, plus there’s a shop just around the corner for food supplies. There’s also a ‘supermarket’ nearby that sells absolutely anything you could want from inflatables to flip flops, pots & pans, birthday stuff, you name it, they sell it! This was my 6th visit to Puerto Pollensa and the best hotel yet. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful within scenic grounds and close to the sea front and restaurants. It’s clean and well equipped for a half board hotel. The food was exceptional with a fantastic variety and always very tasty. However, the downside is that the evening meal is served between 7pm and 9pm. With a 14 month old baby this is too late so unfortunately this led to us either eating separately or not at the hotel at all.. we spent more money eating out because of this. On one morning the hotel ran out of highchairs which again, was disappointing. Overall though, it’s a great place.

Lovely hotel, fantastic staff, extensive food selection but let down by dinner main protein quality. Fewer dishes would mean less food waste and if the emphasis was put on higher quality main protein choices (fish, red meat and poultry) with good quality accompanying sauces then the clients would undoubtedly appreciate it more.

Rooms. Spacious, even with 5 of us. Two completely separate single beds fold easily out of the sofa bed and our boys (7 and 4) said they were very comfortable. Full sized cot provided for our youngest which there was plenty of room for in the lounge are but would also have fitted easily into the main bedroom. The large balcony on the first floor was perfectly safe with a wall up to about 2 feet then a solid glass barrier to about 4 feet high. Restaurant. We were half board in the hotel. Breakfast 8-10 (or 1030?). Good variety of food available. Juice and hot drinks available and plenty of machines so no need to queue. Hot food was nice and hot. Plenty of high chairs available. Dinner 7-930. The food all seemed to go together and was easy to pick a meal and stick with it instead of having random things piled on a plate. Freshly cooked meat and fish every day and good selection of salads. Puddings were delicious and mostly portioned up in individual glass containers or little plates so it looked neat and appetising. Staff were very quick to take drinks orders for evening meal and all friendly and playful with the children. Pool area. Clean and lots of sunbeds available, even in the school holidays. Activities throughout the day provided by then entertainment team, we didn't really use this as we were mostly out of the hotel in the day time. Pool not heated and very cold. Resort. We love the resort and have visited many times. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. Sand is beautiful and the water is very warm in October. Little to no waves and very shallow that even our one year old was confident and safe splashing about at he shore. We have visited the hotel before but unfortunately it will be the last time for us as when our youngest turns 2, there aren't any rooms to accommodate us.
