The beds are not comfortable, I ended booking another guest house for my second day as a result of this.

Our stay was really pleasant, comfortable, relaxing and we enjoyed the peacefulness. We could even have some guest's over to join us and share the fun. Thanks for the hospitality and scrumptious breakfast each morning. We had a lovely stay and the weather was not too bad.

A great place to stay and value. Breakfast was always delicious, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff are super friendly and an asset. Good internet and the location was excellent. I felt safe in the neighbourhood and would highly recommend this place.

Stayed 1 night after long international trip. Friendly welcome after short taxi from airport. The room was spacious and well appointed although felt a little unloved on closer inspection and bits could have done with a deep clean. Nice breakfast in morning included. Did the job. Honesty mini bar for beer etc in room as no bar.

We only stayed here for one night, very welcoming on our arrival. Our room was number 3 at the top of the stairs, so did here people. Room was spacious, comfortable and great shower. Everything we needed. Breakfast was pre booked the day before and wasn’t great to be honest. Overall plenty of food and well presented just not to my personal liking. It’s was a gated a car park so felt safe in side the area/town it’s has lot of homeless people which is uncomfortable. Its a was a nice pleasant stay for our travels, but would honestly not come to Port Elizabeth itself.

The place was quiet, neat, well-cooked breakfast, comfortable bedding, well secured and friendly. We have received a great warm welcome by the manager at the guest house. Your rooms are spacious, very neat and your service was great.

Manor 38 came highly recommended - and one was not disappointed. The home away from home is very centrally located in famous Summerstrand suburb. Just 10 min drive from PE airport. The rooms are very comfortable with all amenities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We actually extended our stay with another night.

I only stayed for one night but it was a pleasant one, loved the location close to the beachfront, the following morning I could take a walk and felt safe. Clean bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was pre booked

The staff is really friendly, can't fault them but the property is extremely disappointing. If we got there a bit earlier in the day and I hadn't paid so much I would never have stayed. I didnt get the room I paid for and the room wasn't clean. Carpets are dirty and the curtains are moldy. The room was so stuffy I could barely sleep. The pictures portrayed this property to be so clean and modern, but this is misleading. The bathroom isn't even cleaned properly, really not impressed. The property definitely needs some maintenance - I mean the grass wasn't even cut. If you're running a 'hotel' at these prices you really should make an effort. Wouldn't recoomend.
