We always have a few day trips to Erakor Island Resort when we stay in Port Vila. It’s a terrific place to spend a relaxing day, swimming, lovely lunch an a Tusker or two. This visit we also attended the Melanesian Feast on Thursday night. It is fantastic! Great food and sensational entertainment including the cultural dance and music troupe from Ekasup Village and the awesome Fireshow. Highly recommend. I would like to give a big thank you to Cliff, Helen and Annie who looked after us, so thoughtful and friendly. See you next January with our family.

We recently spent (only) five nights at Erakor Island Resort, staying in a Beachfront Deluxe Spa Villa, and loved every day of our stay. Having previously lived in Port Vila for a couple of years, and visited regularly since, our holiday needs were likely different to a lot of other people's needs. This was our first stay at Erakor Resort, although we had visited the island on many occasions previously. We were warmly met by Sarah upon our arrival, who continued to look after us with our requests over coming days. She arranged for a private driver to take us on a specific itinerary that we wanted, and she generally made sure we were looked after during our stay. We enjoyed the Melanesian Feast and cultural night, even though we had experienced similar events previously. The night was good fun and the food was plentiful. We also had a private dining night, for an anniversary. Our host, Harry, did an excellent job. The over-water room was nicely decorated, and Harry made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. If anything, there was too much food, and the chefs did a good job meeting our dietary preferences. Breakfasts, and lunches, at the resort were very good, and the staff (particularly Annie) were always on top of things. Similarly, our dinners were tasty and plentiful. We went off-island a few times, and each time the boat crews made the trip safe and dependable.

This was our second time staying at Erakor, and it was just as special as the first. The resort has such a warm and welcoming feel — the staff truly make you feel like family. Sarah and Natalie went above and beyond to ensure everyone was happy and well looked after, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The menu has definitely improved since our last visit, with plenty of variety and delicious options. Portion sizes were very generous — sometimes even a little too big! One small suggestion would be to add an omelette option at breakfast, which we think would be a great addition. A real highlight for us was the kids club. Frida and Soleme were absolutely fantastic, making our children feel so welcome and entertained throughout the stay. Knowing the kids were having fun gave us the chance to really relax and enjoy the island. From the beautiful surroundings to the friendly atmosphere and caring staff, Erakor continues to be one of our favourite places. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

This is a perfect family getaway on a secluded island resort close to Port Vila! It offers a good range of accommodation from waterfront villas to 3 and 4 bedroom self contained houses! Whilst not luxurious the accommodation is well maintained and very comfortable! The standout is the super friendly staff who trat you like family! There are a range of activities and cultural experiences at the resort and the helpful staff can arrange a full range of tours and experiences! The restaurant offers good breakfast with cooked to order options and lunch and dinner menus offer a range of choices. The Tanna coffee on offer is well worth trying and the local beer is good! Overall a good value resort offering a good family holiday!

Our family holiday to Erakor Island was amazing. Bonus is we had great weather all week long. Sarah, Natalie and Lalita helped to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Annie in the Restaurant is so sweet and a hard-worker. Not many staff have name badges so we can't identify others, but generally everyone was friendly and hardworking. As a group of 20, we occupied the White Sands Beach House, 1 beachside villa and a 3 bedroom beach villa. We recommend not to buy food from the supermarkets as it ends up being more expensive than eating out...and you have to cook yourself. We mostly ate at the restaurant on the island but outside of the Erakor Island restaurant, we ate at The Three Pigs and a lovely little bakery down the road. You can also ferry & walk to the Warwick for dinner & a drink or catch a taxi into town. The lunch and dinner at Erakor is brilliant especially the curries and burgers. Be sure to add on the Pizza & Movie night and Melanesian Feast + Fire Show to your package. Remember they are on "island time" so you may need to follow up on drinks/food. If travelling with kids old enough to order food/ drinks to charge back to the room, keep an eye on your tab as it can creep up. The island is in need of some maintenance which we were told us coming after the owner visits later this year. We did the Ziplining, Horse ride and Zego searider, half day tour to the Blue Lagoon and Cascades. As a safety precaution if using the rope swings, be sure to let go when told and do NOT swing back as it's sharp rocks and injuries occurred while we were there. Wear wet shoes.
