Nice view, this place has the best facilities in all places I stayed in Vanuatu.

I write this thru the prism of a city recovering from a significant earthquake 4 months earlier. The location and view from the hotel is fabulous. Our upstairs waterfront room had a stunning outlook. The room was spacious and bed super comfortable. It isn’t offering breakfast at the moment. The room had a basic kitchen. The pool had a lovely view as well. The staff were super friendly. Buses into town are available from a nearby bus stop. The downsides were that power was intermittent, turning off and on multiple times day and night. The hotel internet was very patchy and access to hot water was unreliable. For a relaxing pacific holiday this is a good option that will get even better as the earthquake recovery continues.

We had a wonderful stay at Fatumaru Lodge! The location is very convenient—close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to everything we needed. The staff were truly exceptional—Timothy and Zel went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. They were friendly, professional, and always ready with a smile. The lodge also offers some gear like kayaks and snorkeling equipment, which added to the experience. The lodge offers a great mix of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend!

Stayed here for three nights with the family. It is a bit away from the town, but you could easily take a taxi or walk to the nearby 2- 3 restaurants for your meal - so this was not a major issue for us. We stayed at the 2 bedroom sea view apartment, but if you can stay at the sea front studios that have the best views of the bay. You can order the breakfast and I tried it couple of mornings and found it very good. The lodge doesn't offer lunch or dinners so that's something for you to keep in mind. Overall we liked our stay and this definitely could be an option for your stay in Port Villa.

I am just finishing a 4 day/night stay at this place and I would 100% recommend. Great location from the town yet quiet and tranquil on site. Amazing views (book the waterfront view if you can) and your big double doors opens up to the most amazing and stunning view. The rooms are spacious and clean and this place punches way above its 3 stars. Team are very helpful and the hot chocolate is devine!

We had a fabulous stay here. Timothy was very welcoming and accomodating nothing was too much trouble. He was prompt at answering any questions and organising things if we needed. The place was kept clean and the staff were vigilant around the grounds. The boutique resort is close to restaurants, markets and supermarkets. A slight hill to come back but nothing too strenuous. The accomodation is delightful and the outlook across the bay is a pleasure to look at. We stayed in the two bedroom penthouse which had a full kitchen, longe and a large outdoor area, where we spent a lot of our downtime. The 2 bedrooms had aircon but we found with the windows open and the ceiling fans it was comfortable enough to sleep in. The breakfast is served by the pool and was ample to start the day, fresh fruit, croissant and you could have eggs and bacon if you so desired. They have kayaks for guests to use and it’s an easy paddle across the bay to the sand bank on the other side. it is also only 4 km from the airport and walking distance into Port Vila. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Fatamaru Lodge was fantastic! Timothy and staff were friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming! Especially Janet who made our breakfast every morning, she was friendly and great with our kids, nothing was to much trouble. Clean comfortable spacious rooms, good aircon and comfortable beds! Would 100% recommend Fatamaru Lodge for your stay in Port Vila!

We have stayed at Fatumaru Lodge many times and we love it, it feels better then home. If you like to kayak or stand up paddling you have it right out your front balcony. (kayaks and stand up boards are provided free of charge) If you like to swim they have a pool just out your back door, the pool area has lots of shade and a BBQ you can use. You get beautiful view of the sunset that cover the sky in lovely colours which we look forward even night. The rooms have very large king size bed with a small kitchenet. The staff can book your airport transfers at the best price and they transfers staff will have a sign with your name on it at the airport gate. When taking a bus or taxi around town every driver knows how to get to Fatumaru Lodge. It about a 20 minute into town and you pass many bars and restaurants and long the way. We have plans to come back to Port Vila and we will be booking here again.

This lodge is becoming our second home, the more we stay the more we want to stay. It’s tucked cozily down Fatumaru Bay, almost touching the crystal and tranquil water. The resort is well planned, merging with exuberant plants and overlooking the beautiful lagoon. The rooms are comfortable for all of my five senses, if not six. And the location, it’s far enough from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to all the pamperings of Port Vila. After trying the best reviewed apartments and hotels, we decided to come back and settle down at Fatumaru Lodge:)

We stayed one night here in transit on the way to Moso Island. It is close to the airport and very convenient for restaurants and town centre. The pool was lovely and the staff were helpful. We had a waterfront room which was lovely and the family with us had a larger 2 bedroom suite which worked well for them. The only let down was the breakfast - grumpy service and she burned the croissant... But still a 5 star as they rest was great. They helped us arrange a transfer and gave us later checkout so breakfast is forgiven!

Stayed here 3 nights. Room was terrific. Nice shower, great bed, lovely balcony overlooking the water. Very quiet here. Very solid wifi. Restaurant provided good breakfast. It’s about 30 min walk to centre of Port Vila. I recommend this place if you are seeking a more personal experience, it’s smaller than many of the lodgings in Port Vila proper.

This is a small lodge, about a 15-20min walk into town. It is right on the bay. We had the apartment which consisted of 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, huge covered balcony and amazing views. The pool was small but perfect for the small number of guests. We had use of the kayaks and my girls used them a fair bit. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. The hosts were helpful. It was a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of life.
