108MM House

We had such a great stay at 108mm. We were in the penthouse which had everything we needed. It was spacious, beds were very comfortable, we appreciated the washing machine, and our views were beautiful! Breakfast was delicious and the staff were incredible. They are very attentive to details and it shows. Garden is lovely and the location is terrific. Highly recommend!

A lovely weekend in Porto. The 108mm House is the perfect place to combine both work and pleasure. We were warmly welcomed, since we stepped in and during the entire stay. The apartent was simply amazing! Beautiful decoration, felt just like at home. And the view just took our breaths away, specially the sunset. The apartment was super clean, warm and confortable, with everything we needed. The breakfast was also so good. We had eggs, pancakes, orange juice and a latte. An experience we'll always remember. I highly recommend this hotel, 108mm House!

Would not stay again. We booked through a booking site. And relied on reviews on google however some are from air bnb which have access to other rooms and amenities. Pictures were not representative of actual space/size. Pro: 25 minute walk to historic city center. Tram 1/18 and bus 500 stop just below . Plenty of hot water for showers. Cons: Steps to room after elevator, Room Size, Safety, Cafe Room: The room description did not have sq meters or feet to help judge size. It was so small they offer to store your luggage. Luckily we travel with small roller bags. We had a garden view however that means the only window is floor to ceiling same size of room and people from rooms on either side can walk by and look in. You must keep the curtains closed at all times for any privacy. Each side of bed has 12” (30 cm ) barely enough to walk. TV hard to see. No Coffee or Tea in room. Bathroom has no surface for items to set on and small shelf space under. Shower is very slippery when wet and any soap on floor. Shower spray goes into main area a bit also. Safety: Door to room only can be locked with key at night. You cant open door from inside without key. In an emergency you would need to put the key in. We ended up leaving ours in the door all night for this reason. Lockbox: none in room however they have one in lobby for each room for an emergency key incase you lose yours. The front desk clerk suggested we leave ours in the box when we leave. We did just that and that meant two keys were left when we went sightseeing. When we returned that night one was missing! We asked the front desk gentleman the next day and he said that as not possible and accused us of lying for the most part! Later that morning he apologized and said his colleague took it out. No apologies. What other keys go missing and guests never check or know? Restaurant: the cafe opens at 9am. If you are an early riser there is no coffee or tea available. We found much better local choices 10 minute walk and could start our day earlier.

We booked the accommodation for 3 of us to celebrate our BIG joint birthdays. Catarina and the team made us feel so welcome and could not have done more to help us with advice on where to eat, excursions etc. She booked us the most fabulous sunset boat trip. 100% recommend this place. Its a 25 min walk into the city or an Uber is 6 euro, the location overlooks the river and is so peaceful.

Really helpful staff sorted out our taxis and meal choices locally which was much appreciated. Room was perfect for our needs and the garden and small swimming pool a lovely extra. We tried the brunch too which was really tasty and quick. We Will be back!

A fantastic find - good value for money, a really modern, clean and stylish place to stay. The rooms were big. We had one with a view, but peering through doors during cleaning, the others we saw looked great. The pool is a welcome addition, really relaxing after a day of enjoying Porto and the restaurant provides great food and snacks if you want something poolside. The location and room are quiet though not far from the action - you can walk into Porto or use the 500 bus (which is just outside) and will get you into the centre... but if you prefer to get a taxi it is only around 3 or 4 euros. There is a supermarket a 2 minute walk away where you can stock up on provisions. The stars of the show though are Catarina and Bruno who were incredible - so friendly and helpful, they were able to assist in booking restaurants or taxis. Nothing was too much. They were amazing.
