Beautiful place, love the balcony view. There is no lift or elevator, just a beautiful spiral staircase, 73 steps to the apartment. The beers in the fridge and treats upon arrival were a lovely touch. Enjoyed Porto so much. Great location. Very central.

I have to say, it was a pure pleasure and a fantastic stay in a wonderful apartment! The cost, Fantastic and very very economical! Location, could not be any better! I don;t typically leave any reviews for anything. But I loved it so much that I will be returning many times in the Future. Sofia is a wonderful and very helpful Host. This was an amazing stay, right in the center of the city! Amazing restaurants super close and lots of nightlife as well. The kitchen is super practical to be able to save some bucks. Our room had a great view and nice light. Great service all around

I had an exceptional stay at this local accommodation. The building has been in the family for several generations and has a fascinating history, including a secret passageway used during a period of persecution of Jews in Portugal. As a young couple of architects, Sofia and Ernesto were able to recover and preserve memories of the building's construction, such as the granite walls and "tabique," and steep stairs while still providing all the necessary comforts for their guests. I was impressed by the owners' attention to detail in preserving the building's heritage while ensuring my stay was comfortable. It was evident that they took great pride in providing a unique and memorable experience for their guests. Staying at this local accommodation provided me with an opportunity to connect with the local culture and history in a meaningful way. Overall, I would highly recommend this local accommodation to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable travel experience. My stay was truly wonderful, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Our experience was amazing! The flat couldn't be better located to explore Porto city centre on foot. It is less than ten minutes from every beautiful spot: Ribeira, Sé, Miradouro das Virtudes, Avenida Aliados and São Bento Station. The old tram that goes along the river to Foz and the seaside also departs nearby. The city centre is lively at night with good restaurants and bars nearby. Anyway the rooms were soundproofed and we had great nights sleep. I loved how this historic building has been refurbished so tastefully. Would really recommend the place. And meeting Sofia was the icing on the cake, very helpful and from a real Porto family.

Excellent stay for 5 days in the city. The apartments are situated in a prime location, which makes it very easy to explore the city's main attractions. From the apartment, you can enjoy an awesome view of the city and the surrounding areas, which adds to the overall experience of your stay. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. They ensure that we had a comfortable stay, and they were always available to answer any questions that we had. The apartment itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. It had a very comfortable and homely feel to it, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Very good art inside in the little details!

I loved our stay in Belomonte. Everything perfect. The owner was charming, always very careful. The lady gave us pointers on what to do and where to go in the city which was surprisingly good. Downstairs there is an excellent bakery that is very useful. the fourth is beautiful, well maintained and exquisitely treated

I really liked this apartment! It is Very well located and has a great view! Really cozy and comfortable. I quite liked the architectural style: integrated in the old typical Portuguese building in wood and with this beautiful stairs. I totally recommend it! If you want to stay some days in Porto, this apartment is the prefect one to stay, relax and discover the city!
