Legends House by Sweet Porto recensioner

Our first trip to Porto became a wonderful memory. The hotel greatly contributed to that memory. The location of the hotel was very convenient to go anywhere, and both the pale green exterior and the interior of the room were so cute. The room was large enough for two people, the well-appointed kitchen and the magnificent bed were satisfactory. The shower head was heavy and a little hard to use, and I would have been happy if there was a hand towel. The most admirable thing is the staff. Even before we arrived, they dealt with us sincerely about the access method, preparing a sofa bed and the restaurant reservation. All the staff were pleasant, but the most impressive was Marco (Maybe Marko or Marcos?) at the front desk. When we arrived, Marco gave us advice about sightseeing in Porto, guided us to our room, introduced us to a delicious restaurant and made a reservation, and handled us with a smile until the end. I am very glad that I was able to stay at the hotel with someone like him. Thank you very much. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. I hope I can stay there again someday.

Room spacious and super clean. Hotel seems like newly rennovated. Staff very nice and helpful. Recommended places in Porto that are worth to visit and helped us book table for dinner. Excellent location in the heart of the city. All points of interest are within walkable distance except we drove to the Vila Nova de Gaia area on the opposite side of the river for dinner and the Mercado Bom Sucesso. There is 24-hr underground parking nearby. Just Euro20 for 24 hours.

Fully equipped apartment hotel, though no washing machines available. Breakfast is delivered to the room in a basket, but the selection could use more variety.

Right in the city center. Everything is walkable distance. Will stay again

Everything was good except that some hardware can be improved, like setting up luggage rack on the wall side and easier to use lock for the toilet.

This is excellent accomodation and exactly as described on the website. It is clean, well equipped and spacious. The garden view room was quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for sighseeing in Porto and beyond, on foot and by public transport. Can highly recommend.

We were so warmly welcomed by the staff. Marco and Susana were the sweetest and most helpful. The hotel isn’t in a touristy busy area yet centrally located. The studio was perfect in size and comfort. Would highly highly recommend anyone to stay here.

I stayed at their Studios - Superior Studio Double or Twin, Balcony and City View. The location is central, only a few minute walk to shops, and restaurants. The room was super nice, cozy, and clean. The room smells good all the time, with a relaxing scent. There was a welcome drink included, which I was super happy about. It was raining the morning that I’m checking out; they let me rent an umbrella with $10 deposit. The only thing is that only one coffee pod was included in my reservation, I had to pay 0.50 cents for another one, which I think is not necessary. My reservation was for 2 nights (spent 2 mornings in the place) and also I believe the room is for 2 guest although I was staying alone. Other than that, I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a chic, comfy bed place to stay in Porto.

We booked a duplex apartment. 1) The apartment was filled with ants, we killed over 20 ants that were crawling on the bed. It was disgusting. We complained and they did nothing about it. 2) We requested 2 extra pillows because I have a back ache , they said they cannot provide more than 2 pillows per person. 3) the water pressure for the shower is very weak especially on the hot tab, and it’s takes forever to get the hot water. Very annoying having a shower! 4) the lady sitting down at the reception barely greeted the guests when we come in the building. It’s nice to show a smile every now and then. It’s a pity, with such a nice interior and location to have such bad experience! We will definitely never come back.

We arrived late, at 23:00, but this was not a problem. The apartment felt new, well located. One min from Aliados Metro. Close to Sao Bentao train station so really well located. We also had the breakfast, which could also save some for lunch….

100% loved our stay in Legends House!All dealings with staff very good - both pre and during our visit, location fantastic right in the middle of everything plus just a few minutes from Sao Bento station (which was great for our onward connection to Lisbon) and the apartment was one of the best we have ever stayed in - with the great attention to detail in every aspect and lovely design. Delighted we picked the duplex with separate bedrooms/bathroom for our daughters that they absolutely loved!!! Looking forward to going back!.
