Very good location and close to the train station. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Victoria park is just next door.

The hotel was clean and close city center but internet is just available free for 30 minutes per day and we can pay for breakfast what just we take only illimited breakfast.

Couldn’t have asked for much more really. The man on reception (has glasses) made check in easy and answered and questions we had. Then decided to come down for dinner where Emma greeted us and was welcoming and friendly throughout the evening. The food was perfect. I would highly recommend staying here.

Trip adviser took down my previous review. Apparently the don't like irony! So let's be direct and to the point. The staff were great but calling the room we were given a family room was laughable, and certainly not super. It was to small and the features that supposedly made it a super room, underwhelming.

A very special thank you to all the staff at Travelodge Portsmouth City Centre who went out of their way to make, what was for me, a difficult month easier. The room was warm, comfortable and clean. All the staff were polite and extremely helpful and I would particularly like to thank Emma, Josh, Prashant, Razvan, Ron, and the room cleaners who worked so hard. I hope my wife and I will be back in the future to explore Portsmouth when I have fully recovered.

Great experience. Great service on both the reception and the bar. Check in was quick and simple and the food was lovely. I had the steak and ale pie and my friend had the curry. All the staff that we encountered were lovely however Emma was especially friendly not only to us but I noticed to other customers too, she would take the time to talk to us and check that we were happy.

Great location being it the city centre. Under 5 min drive to Gunwharf Quays. Check in was smooth and Emma was very polite and helpful. Room was good, clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and got a good nights sleep. Parking was just over £5 for 24 hours which was really affordable. Breakfast was under £11 and kids eat for £1. It wasn't the best cooked breakfast i had but cant complain, it was still nice. I would defo return.
