J.J., Marie and their son James run a fabulous B&B, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the excellent breakfasts, enquiries about your day and suggestions for exploring the area, they make you feel at home right away. All dosed with a good portion of Irish humour from the proprietor. The location is perfect for a stroll along the promenade, or along the coast or to take the bus to Port Rush or Coleraine.

Wonderful spot to rest and relax! JJ and Marie were very kind and loved the conversation. Great spot along the water just off the main strip for a little more privacy. Close to shops and restaurants. Beautiful inside and a nice little garden spot out back. The room was perfect! Food was cooked to perfection. Most was from local farmers! Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were warmly welcomed by JJ and shown to our room. We booked over the phone and Marie remembered us. Room spotless. After a chat and getting our bearings JJ offered help with where to go. Breakfast both mornings was excellent and cooked to order so hot and fresh. Again more chat from JJ and lots of advice of where to go etc; he is so knowledgeable. Port Stewart has lots to offer and a gorgeous walk along the beach - don’t forget your swimmers!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay; we look forward to our return.

It's 2 years since I last stayed at Cul Erg. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed by Marie, and she remembered me from past visits, as did JJ. Nothing is too much trouble for these wonderful hosts. My room was spotless and bed comfy. The food was superb, as it always is. I can't recommend Cul Erg house and kitchen highly enough. If you are planning to stay in the area for a day or for two weeks, this cosy B&B, with a 5 star service, should be your first choice. Wonderful place to stay.

My daughter and I stayed at Cul Erg after a walking tour along the Causeway Coastline. It was the perfect stay to end our tour! We thoroughly appreciated a clean and charming top floor room, the absolutely best breakfast food, and wonderful bathrobes and slippers to help us relax after days of being on trail and in the weather! It was perfect.

Cul-Erg was a wonderful place to stay. JJ, the proprietor, was very helpful with information about our Antrim Coast walk. The facility was very well located and very comfortable to stay in . We had a beautiful room. Breakfast was exceptional. I highly recommend this B&B.

A truly lovelly home in a home feeling. Cleanliness like I have never experienced in all of my travelling. Hospitality with warmth and respect. I cannot wait to return. I wish we could have had more time to Chat with the proprietor JJ but as expected, the B&B was fully booked.. this says it all. My vote goes to Cul-Erg.

We were only there for one night at the start of our coastal walk, but I cannot recommend Cul Erg enough. The room was well appointed, clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. It was great to have delicious options. JJ had great advice to share on our upcoming walk. Great location very close to the promenade.

Everything about our stay at Cul-Erg House was fantastic. JJ & Marie were outstanding hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. The accommodations, breakfast, and tourist advice made our trip better than we imagined.
