I stayed at Me and Mrs jones last night on a work trip and from the moment I stepped inside I was treated like a queen . From the best breakfasts, to a bedroom that was so beautiful I did not want to leave it, I had the most wonderful visit . The staff are so lovely, and do everything they can to make sure that you have the best stay possible. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. It is VIP treatment all the way on the North Coast. Thank you again for such a fabulous visit .

This hotel is exceptional. I have never, ever considered writing a review before but I genuinely believe that the service and quality of our visit needs to be marked. When we first contacted the hotel to make a booking we got talking with Molly and later her mother Brenda, the manager. Both ladies were warm and welcoming. To be honest it felt like we were talking with friends. These ladies enjoy their jobs and want to give their guests an unforgettable experience. That is exactly what my husband and I had....from the moment that we opened our doors to enter our room our mouths hung open in amazement. The huge bed, velvet backing, gigantic bath... Everything oozed luxury and relaxation. We had booked the dinner, bed and breakfast package and when we arrived for dinner we were treated like royalty. As for the food, oh my goodness, I can honestly say that the quality of this food surpassed my hopes. I haven't had such tasty, well cooked food in what feels like forever. Even the breakfast is cooked to order! The Bramble was delicious and the wine choice was extensive. My husband and I had hoped for an enjoyable overnight stay but we made a precious memory that saw us relax in an opulent environment. We were privileged to be greeted and treated as friends. We have already booked our next stay. I cannot recommended Me and Mrs Jones highly enough.

Me & Mrs Jones is an outstanding hotel, right in the heart of Portstewart. It is in a great location and is close to everything in the town centre. The hotel itself is amazing! Each bedroom is individual and uniquely decorated/ furnished to a very high standard. We stayed over at Christmas on Boxing night and had dinner bed and breakfast during our stay. The food was excellent and well presented. The service staff were very hospitable. All of the staff in the hotel are very friendly and accommodating especially Brenda who works at reception. Brenda was delightful to deal with and was able to answer any questions we had in relation to the hotel and surrounding area. She was very helpful. We loved it so much that we are planning another stay before the summer. We can’t wait to go back! ✅

Disappointing Stay at Me & Mrs Jones – Poor Service and Billing Issues I stayed at Me & Mrs Jones in Portstewart, Ireland from May 7th to May 13th, 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected from a boutique hotel. From the moment we checked in, the service was lacking. The receptionist, Molly, offered no information about the hotel’s policies — no mention of breakfast times, housekeeping procedures, or even any tourist recommendations. It felt like basic hospitality was completely missing. More concerning were the issues with cleanliness and billing. Our bathroom had clearly not been cleaned prior to arrival — dirty toilet paper and visible urine marks were left on the toilet. Towels were also placed on the dirty hallway carpet outside our room, which was both unsanitary and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we were fraudulently charged for restaurant services we never used. Despite multiple attempts to contact the manager for an explanation, we received no response. There was a clear lack of accountability and oversight from management throughout our stay. It’s evident that the hotel is under new management, but unfortunately, the current leadership seems disengaged and inattentive to both guest experience and operational standards. I would not recommend Me & Mrs Jones at this time. There are far better options in Portstewart where cleanliness, transparency, and basic hospitality are taken seriously

Do not stay ! It’s under new managements and our stay was horrible 1- upon check in the toilet in our room was filled with dirty toilet paper with urine marks all over the toilet. 2 . Upon check in, Molly at the reception didn’t inform us about any of the policy at the hotel such as breakfast time, housekeeping policy and didn’t offer us any information on the surrounding area. When we asked where’s lever road which is the street the hotel is next to, her reply was I don’t know. Just didn’t seem to care about tourist or care about what she’s doing there. 3 housekeeping didn’t provide daily keeping unless asked , we were never advised of that policy upon check in, and they left clean towels on the dirty carpet floor infront of our room door, it’s pretty disgusting carpet . I’ve never experienced housekeeping at any hotels that would do that 4 we also pre paid for our stay in full prior to arrival and received confirmation that our stay was fully paid. upon check out, they fraudulently over charged us asking for additional money Maybe it was better hotel in the past. Under new management I would recommend stay at another place that would provide clean bathrooms, housekeeping that won’t put clean towels on dirty carpet in the ground, reception that’s more informative and a place that will not over charge you. Just fraudulent behavior

I cannot recommend highly enough. The stay was fantastic and the staff were outstanding. Especially Brenda. She is so friendly and helpful an asset to Me and Mrs Jones. We are in hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and the music superb. We will definitely be back soon

This hotel is seductive, the decor creates a unique ambience, we really enjoyed our visit ,the staff are attentive, polite and can’t do enough for you a special mention to Brenda who is the first friendly member of staff you meet at check in and Katie who looked after us so well in the beer garden we will definitely return!

This is our first visit to Portstewart, and I chose Me & Mrs Jones for its close proximity to the Giant's Causeway, Dark Hedges, and nearby shops. The hotel is a boutique property with a lovely ambiance. My partner adored the unique design and concept. It truly feels luxurious, and as a couple, we found everything we wanted for our two-day stay. We enjoyed breakfast, which featured live cooking with fresh local ingredients. We had a restful stay and will definitely be back!

From the minute we walked into the dining room, my friends and I were treated to the most wonderful evening. The warmest welcome from the two staff, especially lovely Sonya who showed us to a perfect table that allowed us to take in the beautiful settings. The place looked magical with candles on the tables. We all agreed that the service and food we received was of the highest standard we have had in many years.
