Disappointing Experience. As a representative of a travel agency, I am extremely disappointed with the experience our clients had at La Caravella di Positano. I feel compelled to highlight the following issues: - Misleading Parking Information: We were initially informed that nearby parking would cost €50. However, upon arrival, the price was being increased without clear justification. This caused unnecessary stress for our clients. - Last-Minute Hotel Change: Despite booking a room at La Caravella, our clients were unexpectedly transferred to Hotel La Rosa, which is farther from the beach and not what was originally booked — with no explanation provided. - Room Not Honored: The room was purchased specifically at La Caravella, yet the hotel failed to provide it. This is unacceptable, especially for bookings made a full month in advance. - Unprofessional Reception Staff: The staff at the front desk was rude and dismissive. He simply stated that the hotel was overbooked, even though our reservation was confirmed well in advance. - No Resolution Offered: The staff made no effort to resolve the issue. Our clients were forced to settle for Hotel La Rosa, a less desirable option, causing frustration and disappointment during what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. This level of service is unacceptable, especially when dealing with travel professionals. We will be advising our partners and clients to avoid La Caravella di Positano in the future.
