I took a day trip and stayed in here for one night. The only thing I regret is that I only one day. The ocean view from the room was breathtaking and all staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The dining was also very good! They offer free water taxi and free boat tour which was definitely worth it. I didn’t get a chance to use the gym. But this is perhaps one of the best gym set up I have seen. I will take my family back here again!

We first travelled to Il San Pietro on honeymoon in 2001, and recently returned to celebrate our anniversary and my wife's birthday. Our visit simply reinforced my view that this is a place of timeless quality - the location, the staff, the service, the food and the rooms are all truly exceptional. Stepping back into the foyer and onto the terrace, we could immediately sense that the essence of the place, the care and passion imbued in it that almost hangs in the air, had not changed and has if anything intensified with the passing of time. This is a place to rest and relax, to take in the beauty and peaceful surroundings of the cliff top location. Positano is only a short boat transfer or shuttle ride away to enjoy, however returning back to the hotel after a day exploring felt like coming home. Thank you to Andrea and all of the staff - your care, attention to detail and stewardship are what sets ISP apart in world that has perhaps forgotten what true style and elegance used to be. Extraordinary and memorable to say the least. This has to be one of the finest hotels in Europe! The best part: the people who work at this hotel. Consistently Excellent team throughout the property. The location, views, food and beverages are the best of the best. There are a number of complimentary experiences for the guests and then there is the live music; the casual manner they present food in the late afternoon as you’re sipping your Negroni or Prosecco. There aren’t enough superlatives to say “thank you.”

We had the most enjoyable stay at Il San Pietro di Positano. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, exceptional design and decor, super comfortable beds, superb location. The views are stunning, like from a movie set. We can’t wait to be back!

We could not have had a better experience at il San Pietro. From the moment you arrive until the day you check-out you are treated like family! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of. The property is breathtaking and both of their restaurants are amazing, we had one of our favorite meals at their Michelin star restaurant Zass. Lunches at il Carlino were also fantastic and were a highlight of the trip. We were very emotional leaving, we wish we could have stayed longer. We cannot wait to come back! Just absolutely incredible! The property itself is breathtaking, it is a romantic retreat next to the hustle of Positano. The food is incredible- their Michelin star restaurant is a must but the complimentary breakfast is just as amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. On top of that, we booked all of transfers through them & it was so effortless. I cannot thank San Pietro’s staff enough- this was a dream! It is worth every penny!

Quite possibly the best hotel in the world. Not only a beautiful location, with views of Positano but away from the hustle and bustle, but THE BEST SERVICE EVER. Everyone made you feel like family from the moment we arrived. The GM Andre was present, always checking in. The front desk, concierge (Alfredo), pool (Pasquale), boat ride - everyone (!) was amazing, personable, professional, and just nice. The room and view was beautiful - a little balcony staring at the ocean. The restaurant was excellent - breakfast was delicious, dinner was a feast. But as a Michelin star restaurant, it felt unpretentious. The beach club was perfect - great restaurant down on the water as well. Tons of complimentary options - cooking class, drink-making classes, boat rides up the coast, plus water taxi to the shore of Positano. You can literally show up with nothing - no plans, just blind - and they will make the stay perfect. Belissimo!

The hotel is extremely luxurious but what sets it apart is the great service. Right from the front desk, the general manager, the restaurant and bar staff, all were extremely helpful, polite, and courteous. We had a great dinner at their Michelin star restaurant, Zac’s, and also enjoyed our evenings sipping cocktails and having small bites from their cute Vespa truck. Truly a great stay!

Perhaps one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in! This hotel is gorgeous outside and inside, with the best attention to detail and hospitality. The resort was the best part of Positano, just away from the crowds in town. The staff was incredibly helpful and the food was also delicious.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional and unforgettable. Our beautiful suite #53 had a "to die for" terrace overlooking the spectacular Amailfi Coast. the Restaurant Zass had the best food (dinner and breakfast) we had during our three weeks in Italy, the head waiter Guiliano, made us feel like family. The complimentary boat trip along the Amalfi Coast is wonderful. This is a classy, first rate unforgettable experience.

The property itself is breathtaking, with spectacular views and elegant touches throughout, but what truly sets San Pietro apart is the exceptional people who make it so special.
