Wellness & Spa Boutique Hotel Pod Lipkami Prague

I stayed at this hotel expecting a 4-star experience, but sadly, it didn’t meet basic comfort standards. The mattress was in really bad condition — one of them was so sloped on one side that I actually fell out of bed during the night. Definitely not what you’d expect from a supposedly high-rated hotel. The bathroom was also quite disappointing. The toilet was positioned way too close to the wall, making it uncomfortable to use. The sink was extremely small — barely enough space to wash your face properly. There was visible mould in the bathroom, and the WC door was damaged at the bottom from water, which gave it an overall neglected look. That being said, the staff were genuinely kind and helpful, and the breakfast was decent — nothing amazing, but it did the job. Overall, the service was the only thing that felt 4-star. The facilities, unfortunately, were not even close. Wouldn’t return unless serious improvements are made

Pro: Breakfast was fine, rooms and bed comfortable, Ambiente nice, not too much noise at night in the neighbourhood. Con: Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the attic floor, spa treatments cost extra money. Worst of all, when checking in, receptionist didn’t tell us (two girls, age 21) that we would need a special card to enter the hotel at night. So we went out one night to party (which in our age in Prague is not uncommon) and came back at 2.30am. The hotel front door was closed and we couldn’t get back in. When calling an „emergency number“ no one answered. When calling the second „emergency number“ we were told that they don’t feel responsible to help and if we couldn’t get in we should just try and knock or go to another hotel for that night. Remind you, it was early march and it was freezing outside. We stood there for at least 30 minutes before I eventually realised through coincidence that the sliding door from the hotel Terrasse wasn’t locked. So we literally were left out in the freezing weather and no one cared. Don’t know if you really want to visit such a hotel.

Really nice and welcoming room, to be recommended to everyone, a real pity that there was not the same bathroom as the two-room apartment. Breakfast service was also good, one day i will try the spa service there.
