Miss Sophie's New Town & Wellness

Everything was very nice. It is a hotel as part of a hostel, which is located on the opposite site of the street. The receptionist William was delightful: He showed me the map of Prague, he helped me unlock my door when I struggled and he approved with me a late checkout since I had a train a bit later than normal checkout time. The only issue was that the was quite difficult to open, which I informed the receptionist about when I checked out and they said they would pass that information on to the management.

The staff were excellent, very helpful. Our room was slightly narrow, BUT the shower was great, the beds very comfortable, and the pillows large3 and very very comfy. The room was spotless and airy. A big shout out to Mirka who was fantastic, nothing too much trouble. A very good breakfast, constantly being replenished. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Approx 1 mile from the square, but much better as it is quiet. STRONGLY RECOMMEND

We enjoyed our stay at Miss Sophies, the staff were pleasant, the room was clean with plenty of space to put your belongings including a safe and cupboard for hanging items and has seating space too. The breakfast was great with a large variety on offer (we had to walk across the road for B'fast, although this was totally easy and fine with us). The location is about a 15min walking distance to the old town. There was a tram stop only a few minutes walk. Lovely restaurants around too. The only downside are the European pillows, which I don't like as I prefer a firm pillow. I could have asked but didn't. I would recommend a stay at Miss Sophies.

We stayed 8 days in this hotel and really enjoyed it! It is well located in walking distance from restaurants and public transportation (I.P. Pavlova). We were also close to one of the Christmas Markets. Staff was very helpful in providing directions and recommendations. The price included breakfast which was a very rich buffet with hot and cold items. The room was small but very clean with snacks and water and coffee and tea all complementary! What a lovely touch! Thank you for your hospitality!

The hotel's location is great, close to the heart of the city and the Subway station. My room was comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. What stood out the most, however, was the friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

Hotel looked good in the add for it. We where a family of 3 persons and got a 4 bed room. The add promised soundproof room with AC and internet. It was listed as 4 stars hotel. Reality was room in the reception with no soundproofing. Could here all conversasions and comotion fron reception. The door was about 2 meters away from it. Bunkbeds hostel style and such. No breakfast at the acctual hotel, this one needed to go accros the steet to the acctual hostel (!) for. The AC needed to be started from reception so one had to go out there everytime one wanted an adjustment. First nigth was hot like owen, hard to fall assleep since all noises bleed in to the room. Early to awake because of same issue. After first nigth of three i asked if we could get another room since it was to noisy in there. That was not possible since this was the room we paid for was the answer. So the fact that room was not as advertised was not an issue to them. All in all we paid for 4 star hotel, but ended up with hostel living with bunkbeds insted (not that the beds where the problem). Thats not what i was aiming for. would bot recomend for families or people who want to sleep in silence. Plus for the friendly reseptionist that second day found us a contoller so that we could at least operate the AC in the room ourselves.

I booked a room with Miss Sophie's for a 4 night stay with my fiance. The staff were always on hand to help and very welcoming. Great to have breakfast included every morning, and with the beautiful weather we were lucky to eat in the garden area most days. The room was a reasonable size with plush, oversized pillows and air con that made it a relaxing haven after a busy day exploring Prague. Located in a fantastic position with popular sites in walking distance, including the Dancing House. 100% recommend!!

Our room was adorable. The AC was broken and management offered a move to another room but we chose to stay in our room and just open the windows. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was offered at the hostel across the street and was delicious. The location was great. Easy walk or Uber ride to anywhere we wanted to go.

We only stayed here for one night, but I wish we had a longer time there. Staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. We were able to have the bottled water and snacks in the room as complimentary!! Miss Sophie's is in a very convenient location as well.
