The room was not very clean with cockroaches. The bed extremely hard and pillow very high ad uncomfortable.
Apart for the location 5 m by taxi from the airport is not worthy to stay . Avoid it at all cost

Nice and quiet hotel. Everything was clean! Friendly stuff. AC was working well. Breakfast a little poor. Pool looked nice - no time to use it. Hotel didn´t have an elevator - but some stairs - if your luggage is really heavy it´s hard to carry it it up to the second level.

Long story short- there are nicer and more accommodating hotels in the area. Do not recommend—however if you decide to stay with them—-request a room in new building or renovated section of main building. If you have mobility/handicap issues there is NO elevator with lots of stairs.

The room was not very clean with dead cockroaches in the carpet . Other reviewers had said the bed very hard and uncomfortable. I can confirm that and the pillows too high . After spending a few hours layover I have back and neck pain . I should had followed the others yo avoid it . However, one consolation is the proximity to the airport a 5m ride . As my layover was too short I did not have much luxury of choices . The staffs ok to offset the room condition . But do avoid it if you can

We spent one night in a ground floor room (107), after a late-night arrival and quick taxi ride from Lajes Airport. Our room was simple, fairly compact (other than the spacious bathroom with bidet), and very clean. The only downside for us was that the beds were quite firm. The breakfast was quite substantial, with a buffet of hot items (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and baked beans), as well as pancakes, cereal, yogurt, cold cuts and fruit, plus an array of breads, toast, cake, spreads, tea, coffee and juice. The coffee was up to European standards (so quite decent).

I will start with the positive and say the staff are exceptional. Very kind, helpful, and just lovely. Truly the staff are great. But would I stay here again? No. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. My spouse who sleeps through everything couldn’t sleep given how hard the bed was, he never complains and had sever back and neck pain. Legit it is like sleeping on a floor. The breakfast as others have mentioned is really not very good ( at all). We wanted to go for a swim and the pool was covered in bugs and just unbelievably dirty. It’s very outdated and they just need to put a little money in it. I ultimately believe don’t break the bank on where you stay as you only sleep there… but this was pretty bad… we were both so tired it made sightseeing the next morning hard. Personally spend the extra few dollars and stay somewhere else.

Great 2 night stay in late August. Room clean and modern. Pool area nice Great breakfast with lots of choice Location Great, 600m to the sea, 8km walk to serra do cumme (either though the receptionist thought we were crazy when we said we were going to walk there - its a lovely walk and not too hilly) and opposite a small supermarket. The housekeepers, the 2 ladies doing breakfast and the receptionist who answered our non stop questions were all excellent.

Hotel muito simpático, Quarto e espaçoso muito limpo e confortável, casa de banho apesar de se notar alguma antiguidade estava exemplarmente funcional e limpa. Varanda muito boa para relaxar com vista para o jardim e piscina, as Areas comuns muito limpas e amplas. Boa Piscina com equipamento suficiente, apesar de não ter utilizado. limpeza e arrumação diária. Pequeno Almoço muito bom com várias opções e escolhas. Atendimento do Staff bastante competente e simpático para os hóspedes. Hotel que recomendo para uma estada simples e confortável.
