Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Prairie du Chien, WI

The hotel was comfortable for the most part, but improvements are needed. When we checked in for three days I received a welcome text, staying that no housekeeping would be provided for three days! So the garbage piled up until we checked out, and the one miniature container of shampoo ran out. There is a tray for cookies in the lobby, but the tray was empty every time I passed it. The tub and sink didn't drain adequately. There is a double door inside the pool area that is severely rusted out on the bottom. We found it odd that members of the hotel staff were often seated in the lounge area in front of the hotel. One would think that this area would be reserved for hotel guests. Next time we will stay somewhere else.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming, with everything we wanted for a quiet, comfortable night after exploring Prairie du chein. The adjacent restaurant was great! Local folks with proper wisconsin food and drinks, and we didn't have to get back in the car! It's hard to find a place like this in today's climate of cold, impersonal interaction.

Comfortable room with good separation. We booked a one bedroom king suite with a sofa bed, got the king bed but a bunk bed which didn't suit any of us. Apparently we weren't the only people given the same room accomodation. There is a tv in the bunk space but it is impossible to view from the bed. The other couple we met commented that the hotel rooms were DEFINITELY not designed by a woman. The pool and hot tub were nice. The restaurant OK. They forgot to give us our sodas and sent someone up to the wrong room to deliver them. The kid who answered the door took them without a second thought. When we called 30m later, they brought up more drinks. Don't order soda thru the restaurant, you get a 1/2L bottle from the vending machines cheaper. Still, nice overall stay

The hotel was clean and the room spacious. There is an indoor pool and a restaurant attached. Staff were ok but not overly welcoming. Biggest gripe was that, although we stayed 2 nights they didn't service the room. We don't mind making up a bed but it meant that bins were un-emptied, towels not replaced, refreshments not replenished. Not a big deal but we paid the same price for each night!

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The room had 2 bunk beds (with a King bed). The room definitely needed a make-over - it looked tough and beat up. The bathroom was incredibly small. Will not stay there again. The TV was huge - that was the only plus of the room.

Pets are welcome here. We stayed in a non pet room but saw many pets staying here. The rooms were clean and up to date. The pool was fun. It has options for smaller kids and teens. The slide is only open select days. The breakfast had a variety of choices. A good choice to stay.

This was a very good experience. Easy and friendly check In. Room was what ii had expected. Clean, bright, great bed, lots of towels. Only problem was the TV. Could not control volume and very difficult to switch channels. But this seemed to be a problem with all the rooms of the guests with our wedding party. Breakfast was good except for the bagles being stale. All in all i would definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night on way to Milwaukee, WI. This is a good location because it's not right downtown in the bar district. There are many other places to stay if you want the nightlife and walking distance to those areas. Hotel is located right next door to Cabela's (walkable). Bar & Grill is attached, so no need to really leave the premises for food/drink. Laundry facilities are fine and did a quick load of laundry. Pool is hidden gem !!
