The room was extremely spacious and had an equally spacious ensuite bathroom. We had requested twin beds which were made up when we arrived. We arrived later than scheduled and the host was very gracious when we turned up. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety on offer. We opted for the cooked breakfast which was excellent. We were attending a funeral which was scheduled for the afternoon so we asked if we could retain the room longer. This was granted and we weren't charged additional fees. Overall an excellent place to stay and I would highly recommend this B&B without hesitation.

Beautiful historic B&B, which has been recently renovated (very well) so has everything for your modern needs. Very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was amazing so much choice and well executed. Hosts were lovely, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again if we visit Princetown.

A warm reception greets you at Duchy House. The rooms are beautifully appointed, bathroom spotlessly clean and the breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. Would definitely stay here again. The b and b is well situated for wonderful walks around Dartmoor and close to a couple of good pubs with home cooked food.

First class B & B accommodation. Owners are approachable and friendly and their business is run efficiently and professionally. Ideal situation for walking the moors. The two pubs are within walking distance and are comfortable and friendly.

A brilliant visit! This superbly run guest house has everything you need for a trip to Dartmoor. Great food, comfortable, modern and spotless accommodation with an excellent family atmosphere. I thoroughly recommend this family run business.

Great place to stay , very welcoming ! The room was really comfortable with a good selection of tea/ coffee / hot chocolate and the homemade treats were a bonus . Breakfast was really good and the quality of produce used was excellent. Would definitely recommend

Duchy house is one of the best guest houses you will find on Dartmoor Perfectly located to enjoy the great outdoors and extremely comfortable to return to at the end of the day. Breakfast is superb and will set you up for the day. It's warm friendly and exceptionally clean and I would recommend for a getaway from the rat race.

Parking on the site made it easy to access the B&B and the staff made us friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and everything we needed was provided . Although the bedroom was smaller it was still comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and included a good choice.

Beautiful large room ( double ) en suite shower room, tea & coffee facilities, hairdryer, A good breakfast menu, you could have as much or little as you wanted. Situated in the centre of the village. Secure off street parking, shops 5 minute walk away. Several good eating establishments,
