Golden Coast Beach Hotel

We stayed at the hotel in a swa view room from the time we arrived till we left .The hotel is stunning rooms food restaurants are all amazing watched some beautiful weddings whilst we were there Pernena is a beautiful beach at hotel we walked to protaras most days and stopped off for drinks along the way I cannot wait to come back if you are booking here you will not be disappointed the massage we received was amazing the drinks and food left in our room . I can not wait to return the area down to bars in Pernena are just beautiful.

We stayed for 7 nights earlier this month. The hotel is a fantastic base to explore the region and local area. Getting around was really easy. We did have slight concerns before we arrived, however this proved to be the exact opposite. Brilliant and cheap bus service right outside the front door. The staff are all fantastic, always smiling and welcoming to all the guests. Room maids are also brilliant. The food we found was very good, lunch time we really enjoyed what was on offer. It was nice to eat out some nights though in Pernera. Small place but some great bars and restaurants. The hotel overlooked the beach and sea and was brilliant for a quick dip In the water. There where loads of weddings but that seemed to add to the atmosphere, nit detract like some of the comments I have read. There is building work in the harbour, but we never found this to be to intrusive. Jet 2 offer a great baggage collection service, which saves loads if hassle. Late checkout was not possible but you can use the shower facilities so need to worry about having a day in the sun. You can still use the all inclusive band aswell. To sum up, fantastic place to stay on a beautiful bit of coast and the staff are brilliant.

Everything was fantastic! The hotel is excellent—clean and bright. The room was well-equipped, with incredibly comfortable beds and everything a guest could need, including a phone adapter, so we didn’t have to buy one. The room also had a smart home system. It was cleaned every day. The hotel grounds are quite large and include Italian and Greek restaurants, as well as a bar. The food was delicious, with the lunch and dinner menus changing daily, even the desserts. A special recommendation for the Italian restaurant on the premises—everything was absolutely amazing. The beach was clean, one of the best in Protaras. It’s perfectly set up with plenty of sun loungers and a shower right on the beach. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to detail. A huge thank you to the hotel manager, Giannis, who helped with various issues and gave great recommendations, always ready to assist. Special thanks also to the cafeteria staff, particularly Yener, who learned a greeting in Georgian and always greeted us in our language. Stelios Maitre always greeted us with a smile and checked in on how we were doing. Lastly, I’d like to highlight the positive energy of the girls from aqua aerobics, and the spa therapist—the massage was divine!

We have had a wonderful short break at the Golden Coast. The hotel feels quietly luxurious and our room seemed freshly upgraded. The bedside control panel for lights, air con etc and charging ports felt high end and thoughtfully provided. The room was spacious with a nice balcony. The bathroom had a large wall in shower and we appreciated the good quality toiletries. I really looked how the towels, robes and even the wrapping for the spare loo roll were all discretely branded- it made the room feel so much classier. We stayed on a B&B basis and breakfast was fantastic- we were almost overwhelmed by choice and it was all good quality food and drink. We ate at the restaurant twice and the food was great and also very good value for a hotel. The bar was also very welcoming. The staff really make this hotel an extra star as they do seem to go the extra mile to make you feel taken care of. We particularly liked the front desk staff, Anna and her Greek colleague, and Stelios, Pánicos, Dora and other colleagues in the restaurant. We would definitely come again and found it a delightful stay. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing hotel, the staff are all so friendly. We arrived in the early hours, we had sandwiches and bottled water in our room. Rooms very modern, house keeping team are fantastic. The entertainment team, speak some times, asking certain guests if they would like to join in with activities but not asking all. The entertainment in the evening is varied. I wouldn't recommend Michael Jackson tribute to guests with young children as the video he plays in the background was horrific for the children. Definitely not child friendly. The parrot show, Dr who magic is amazing. The spa team had different offers on daily, they walked around the pool area, offering their services, giving out flyers The Irish lady lifeguard went above and beyond. She knew the children's names and often when less busy taught them how to dive and be safe. She always said good morning and good night to nearly all the guests. When she was the only guard on duty, she didn't let anything go, she watched everyone like a hawk. Amazing lady. The bar staff outside were so friendly, knowing quickly what drinks you would have. The restaurant staff, went to every table, took drinks orders and asked if everything was okay many times. They cleared plates as soon as the were finished. The food was always fresh with lots of choices, even for the picky eaters. The hotels offers entertainment inside the hotel and on the terrace. Something for everyone. Staff offering drinks was definitely a bonus. The shop inside the hotel has all the little things you may need, from extra suncream, gifts, crisps, sweets, or a cold can to take to your room. Towels to hire for the pool area opened at 9 and didn't close to 6, towels soft and freshly cleaned you just give your towel card in at collection and get it back for the next day at drop off. Beach right on your door step, euros needed to hire sun loungers on the beach. Not through hotel. Boat trips, bus ride or taxi yo next town very good value for money. Plenty to do for all ages. For my birthday we returned to the room to find a bottle of wine, plate of fruit and Happy birthday wishes. This really ment a lot. We will most definitely be visiting again. We have just returned from the Golden Coast and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect for families, easy access to the beach means we swapped between the pool and beach daily. Due to the restrictions with reserving a sun bed, which most people complied with, we didn't have a problem getting a bed at 8am each morning. We went on a boat trip one day and still manged to get 4 beds when we returned in the afternoon. The food was incredible, I have a gluten intolerance and expected to live off of salad for the week, however, the chiefs couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Every day they went through which foods I could have each lunch and dinner time. Each day I could eat most the food on offer and even offerd GF breakfast and brownie desserts. There was never a queue for food at any time. The entertainment team need a speciel mention. The whole team were amazing. They work so hard for long days and even at 11pm were still smiling from ear to ear. My daughter's (7 &9) loved the kids activities and even joined in with the bingo. We are not a family that usually join in with the cheesey hotel entertainment, however, by the 3rd night we were hooked. The shows were also great. I was concerned about the location of family annex, however, it was beautiful. It has its own air conditioned Reception and was a short walk to the main hotel under a lovely walkway. The rooms were spacious and the beds so comfy. The only thing I would comment on is that some extra pillows for the children would be helpful. The reception staff were helpful when needed and a member of staff came to see us off when we left which was a lovely touch. Thank you to all at the hotel for making our first family holiday so perfect, we hope to return one day.
