Don’t go to this hotel⚠️⚠️⚠️ I went for 17 days and multiple things went missing ( clothes, makeup, etc.) not just for me but other families aswell We all told them about this and they said they can’t do anything about it. Also they also said that the water slide would be done before we got here and we left and it was only half done! The food (mainly chicken and other meat) was all undercooked most of the time aswell!!! I am not happy about this experience at all… 😡

We stayed at Maris Grand Water Park Hotel in Cyprus and had an absolutely amazing experience! The hotel is brand new – the rooms are spacious, spotless, beautifully designed, and even better than the photos. The pool is large, well-maintained, and super relaxing – perfect for a fun day in the sun. The dining room staff were wonderful – friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. The food selection was excellent – a wide variety of tasty, fresh, and clean dishes. Plus, there’s free ice cream and soft drinks available throughout the day – such a treat! The hotel also provides shuttle service to the beach and to a nearby hotel with a water park and slides – the kids (and we!) absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect – we enjoyed every moment and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended! 💙

⭐️ 1 star We arrived at the Maris Grand Waterpark Resort in Cyprus on July 19th, 2025, full of excitement – myself, my wife, my sister, her husband, and their two young daughters. But what happened after check-in left us shocked and deeply hurt. The hotel had been informed in advance that we are a Turkish family. The welcome at the reception was polite – but from that point on, we no longer felt welcome. We were denied access to any alcoholic beverages for our entire stay, until our departure on July 29th. Other guests were served normally – we were simply excluded. When we tried to talk to the manager, we were met with hostility, aggression, and total disrespect. We weren’t even allowed to speak. We were threatened with the police and told we could be thrown out of the hotel! The manager even suggested that we could leave the children in the hotel and “find a different place for the adults” – what kind of treatment is that? This was discrimination, plain and simple. It was humiliating, upsetting, and unacceptable. In a tourist destination, your ethnicity should never determine how you’re treated. We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values fairness, dignity, and true hospitality.

The place is not fit to be open it’s a health and safety hazard the moment you walk into reception nothing is finished pools dangerous witnessed multiple cuts to children’s feet my child included life guards don’t even monitor the pool just sit on there phones all day or sun bathe cracks and holes all over the floor jet2 and other company’s are scamming people telling everyone it’s ready when it’s at least 4/5 months away from being fully operational

During our recent stay, we had the pleasure of being looked after by two truly exceptional members of staff – Mr. Demetris, the restaurant manager, and Maria, the lifeguard. Mr. Demetris went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was perfect every single time. His professionalism, warm hospitality, and attention to detail made us feel truly welcomed. He always greeted us with a smile and was attentive to every request. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and the quality of service. Maria, the lifeguard, was equally impressive. Not only was she extremely vigilant and professional, but she also created a safe and friendly atmosphere at the pool. She was always kind, approachable, and happy to offer help or information when needed. Her calm presence made families feel secure and relaxed. Both Demetris and Maria made our experience truly memorable. They are a credit to the team and deserve every recognition for their hard work and dedication. Thank you both for making our visit so enjoyable!

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the treatment my family and I received during our stay at your hotel, starting on July 19, 2025. We arrived as two families – myself, my wife, and our two children, along with my brother-in-law and his wife. The initial reception at the front desk was friendly and professional. We were advised to have lunch while our rooms were being prepared. The meal was satisfactory, and the rooms were modern and clean. However, the situation deteriorated rapidly from there. While at the pool on the first afternoon, my brother-in-law and I had a brief conversation with the lifeguards. The female lifeguard (named Maria) made an inappropriate remark, suggesting to my brother-in-law that she would “do anything for €100.” We took this as a tasteless joke. Another male staff member mentioned that he had access to many clubs and could “arrange anything,” including *****. We immediately stated that we have absolutely no connection to ***** and that we were simply looking to enjoy a peaceful family vacation. We found this offer both shocking and unacceptable. The following day, we walked to the beach with our children. Upon returning to the hotel, we felt increasingly watched by the staff. We were asked several times about our background and ethnicity. While we are all born and raised in Germany, we are of Turkish descent. We were later informed by other guests that locals in Cyprus often harbor hostility toward Turks. That evening, the assistant manager aggressively confronted us in our room and “threatened” to remove my brother-in-law from the hotel. When I asked why, he claimed that his staff told him we were trying to sell ***** to employees – a completely false and baseless accusation. When I requested to see the supposed video evidence, I was denied access. Instead, we were told to stay quiet for the remainder of our stay and warned that we would be evicted immediately if we caused “any trouble.” During dinner, we were humiliated further. A waiter informed us that my brother-in-law was not allowed to order a beer and my wife was also denied a glass of wine – a ban that was imposed for the remainder of our nine-day stay without any valid explanation. This was clearly a form of targeted mistreatment based on false claims and prejudice. We contacted our tour operator immediately and requested a transfer to another hotel, which was fortunately arranged. Speaking with other hotel guests, including an English couple, we were informed that a staff member had told them, “They don’t like Turks here.” Another German couple, who shared our transfer bus, reported that the TUI bus driver had informed the hotel manager in advance that he was bringing a “Turkish family” and that they should be watched closely. This level of discrimination is utterly unacceptable. We came here to enjoy a family vacation – not to be judged, mistreated, or falsely accused based on our ethnicity, religion, or nationality.

This was by far one of the most memorable experiences in a hotel by far. The rooms were spotless, the beds so comfortable and the entertainment was brilliant. It was my daughter's birthday and they went out of their way to make it a super special experience for her. The f&b manager and his assistant was hands o n with his presence giving the experience a more personal touch. The food was phenomenal, especially the Asian night. I honestly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable experience.

The Hotel is lovely, fresh and modern. The rooms are so clean and the housekeepers are wonderful. Air Con is powerful (note- turns off if the balcony door is open) . My family found the food good with plenty of options. I am a fussy eater but never went hungry! The staff are friendly and accommodating. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss but I’d say as the summer roles on they will find their feet! Plus they need the guests to get involved to make it work. Shame about the waterpark but we utilised the bus service to the beach and sister hotel which actually was nice to go off and have a change of scene. The pool is a good size and well maintained - may get a bit busy as season goes on. My only complaint/suggestion would be that drinking water should be available to guests 24/7 - we got back late one night and were told because the bar was shut we couldn’t get glasses of water and so had to go out to the shops. We knew then to stock up for the fridge in room but I still think water should always be available. Overall though we had a great time

The hotel is best described as hit and miss to be honest. Firstly, if you want the Waterpark, wait until next summer because that’s apparently when it’s going to be finished by. Disappointing for us as a family that we weren’t able to use it! On a positive note the hotel is clean, the rooms are modern, and the rooms are made up properly every day. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly and helpful, the bar staff maybe not as much for whatever reason. The hotel is in a good location, and only 5/10 minutes from the main strip which is very lively with lots of bars, restaurants and live music acts. The food and drinks are just average to be honest, nothing special but not bad by any means. There’s some half decent food choices but probably not quite enough food at times. Unfortunately there are quite a few negatives, and although I won’t come back to this hotel, the negatives aren’t too terrible. The pool seems to have been rushed when building, and there are sharp edges which caused nearly all of us to get a scrape on our feet/toes. Due to everyone using the one pool, when the hotel is busy you can hardly move in there, and the restaurant has the same issue. The amenities would not be able to cope with a full hotel, it’s been bad at times this week and there’s a lot of empty rooms. There’s only one toilet in the entire downstairs area of the hotel, outside by the pool, which is a little ridiculous when you think about it. Again, the food is okay but there’s just not enough space or selection for the number of guests. The entertainment is pretty shocking to be honest, and if that’s a big part of your holiday, definitely avoid this hotel. To summarise, it’s just hit and miss, and a 3 star rating is fair in my opinion. The hotel probably needs time to learn and improve, add more amenities and increase the restaurant space. My advice, avoid booking here, at least for now!
