Kokkinos Boutique Hotel

This is the 3rd year running we have been to this hotel. The hotel is situated on the Protaras strip with all the restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep The beautiful, clean beaches with clear blue water are a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good and the staff are very friendly and professional. You come as guests but you leave as their friends. The staff go the" extra mile" for you. Olga and all reception staff,Maya in the restaurant and Paula our cleaner are outstanding people. Some people may find the fact that the pool is in shade for most of the afternoon an issue, but we didn't. We have already booked for 2025.

Our second trip to Kokkinos Boutique hotel as a family - we also stayed in October 2023 and we are still blown away by the amazing staff at the hotel. We stayed as a family of three (two adults and an 18 month old), the rooms are spacious - I would recommend asking for the B block as A is right on the strip and can be loud. The staff are all wonderful, in particular maya who is part of the catering team. Always made us feel welcome at breakfast. Breakfast could do with some improvements, we found the variety large but also limiting. However, everything was fresh and tasty. We also want to sing the praises of Nadia on reception who remembered us and our little boy from the year prior! She was absolutely wonderful with our son, made us feel so welcome and even bought a little gift for our son which was above and beyond and we will treasure. Highly recommend for a friendly, budget hotel that’s right on the strip and close to everything!

Only stayed for 3 nights but found the hotel exceptionally clean, couldn't fault the staff and the breakfast had everything you'd expect ie. Continental, cooked, fruit and pastries. Very central to everything and the beach was a 5 minute stroll. I would stay here again.

A really nice small hotel, the location is great close to the beach, and shops and restaurants. Really nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The room was a bit small but very comfy. The only thing we didn't love was the noise, our room was looking at the street and there are many loud cafes close, but that's not the hotels fault.

This hotel is conveniently located in central Protaras. A short walk to the beach. There is a supermarket opposite and a bus stop a short walk away. The hotel is spotlessly clean with a central open air swimming pool. Breakfast is buffet style with an excellent selection of food, hot and cold. For evening meals there are many excellent restaurants within a short walk.

Positives: Location, rooms & breakfast. Negatives : THEFT :My mobile phone was in a wallet with my debit card and credit card which were stolen from my room 307 and returned a couple of days later and put back in the safe. One day my partner and I returned from the beach and I couldn’t find my wallet/phone anywhere. We searched the safe and the room several times but couldn’t find it. My partner rang my mobile but it did not ring in our room, so obviously it wasn’t in the room. I went to reception to report the matter. I then blocked my phone and both cards. I used the app ‘Find my device’ It showed the phones location was in the KOKKINOS hotel somewhere. The next morning, my partner opened the safe and putting her hand in and found my phone and cards. I checked my bank account and no money had been taken out. I then checked Google Pay. 44 attempts had been made to log in from countries all around the world but fortunately they hadn’t used the correct PIN number. When I arrived back in the UK , I emailed the Manager Mr Constantinos twice using the 2 email addresses given by the hotel reception. I haven’t received any reply. My reason for writing this review is to bring it to future guests notice and hopefully protect them from having to experience what we did.
